Viral Social Content Manager

United States

About the Role

This role is for someone who lives and breathes the feed — someone who knows when to spark a hot take, when to lean into a meme, and when to turn a C-suite mic-drop into a LinkedIn earthquake.

You’ll manage our North America social presence, support bold, outspoken executives who like to ruffle feathers, and help launch a podcast that asks the questions no one else is asking. You don’t have to write every post — but you do have to spot the gold, shape the narrative, and light the match.

You’ve done this before — with at least 3+ years of experience in social content, brand, or editorial (B2B/SaaS is a bonus, but not required). You’re fluent in internet culture, witty but professional, and energized by bold ideas. You’re also open to occasional travel for content capture, team sessions, or podcast production moments.

Social Media, but Make It Unignorable

  • Own VTEX’s NA social channels (LinkedIn, X, Instagram, YouTube) with content that hits hard and lands loud.
  • Create and repurpose content that doesn’t play it safe — it sparks debate, laughter, or at least a DM or two.
  • Create catchy, punchy short-form video content that grabs attention and drives engagement across platforms.
  • Build campaign moments, real-time takes, and platform-specific bangers that feel human, fast, and a little dangerous.

Partner with Bold, Brilliant Execs

  • Work closely with our leadership team — outspoken, high-conviction execs who like to challenge the status quo on all channels.
  • Ideate social content and campaigns based on their provocations, hot takes, and back-of-napkin brilliance.
  • You don’t have to do all the ghostwriting — but you do have to translate bold thinking into high-impact social storytelling.

Launch Our Podcast (And Make It Pop)

  • Own end-to-end execution of VTEX’s flagship podcast: guests, ideas, prep, and content roll-out. Working with a professional podcast agency and recording studios.
  • Spin podcast episodes into snackable social formats — from savage pull-quotes to hilarious behind-the-scenes clips.
  • Bring a POV to every episode and make sure the final product has energy, clarity, and a little tension.

Act Like an Editor-in-Chief

  • You’re not just running posts — you’re curating a conversation.
  • Spot moments to zig when others zag, call out industry nonsense
  • Work across content, brand, GTM, and comms to turn serious thought leadership into seriously good social content.

About the Team

We’re VTEX, the composable commerce platform working with global powerhouses like  Carrefour, Colgate, Sony, Stanley Black & Decker, and Whirlpool. And while our tech is rock solid, our brand voice? We want it bold. Provocative. Even a little controversial.

We’re building a brand that doesn't just join the commerce conversation, it leads, questions, challenges, and shakes things up. That’s why we need a Viral Content & Executive Voice Strategist who’s sharp, scrappy, and not afraid to throw a punch (intellectually speaking).

Who you are

  • Are opinionated and quick-witted, with the instincts of a stand-up comic and the judgment of a great editor.
  • Have 3+ years experience in social content, brand, or editorial (B2B/SaaS is a bonus, not a must).
  • Know American media culture inside-out — you understand the tone, the timing, and the tweet-before-it-trends vibe.
  • Love execs with a take — and know how to help shape and amplify it without watering it down.
  • Are organized, proactive, and collaborative — but never vanilla.
  • Are comfortable with light travel for content capture, podcast production, or campaign moments.
  • Are willing to travel at times on a moment’s notice.
Bonus Points For
  • Being Miami or Texas-based or able to travel for IRL content and podcast recording moments.
  • Having launched or scaled a podcast, brand voice, or social program before.
  • Experience in commerce, retail, SaaS, or startups.
  • A portfolio that includes receipts: campaigns, posts, videos, or even a meme that went viral for the right reasons.
