ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Cash Management Intern to join our Finance team in Rio de Janeiro.

This team plays a key role in VTEX’s global financial operations, connecting different parts of the business, balancing operational agility with accuracy and compliance. As an intern, you’ll have the opportunity to learn how a global company manages its cash flow, liquidity, and banking relationships across multiple countries, while supporting initiatives that improve visibility and efficiency in our financial processes. WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Support the daily cash management of VTEX entities in Peru, Portugal, and Spain, helping to ensure accuracy and compliance in all operations.
  • Assist in communicating operational needs and maintaining relationships with banking partners in the countries under your responsibility.
  • Help update and improve cash flow spreadsheets, contributing to process efficiency.
  • Support the execution of SOX operational controls and help ensure proper documentation.
  • Assist in the analysis and forecasting of global and entity-level cash flows, providing data and insights to the team.
  • Help with foreign exchange processes and intercompany remittance tracking.
  • Contribute to the preparation of financial reports for the executive committee and auditors.
  • Provide general administrative support to the Finance team in daily routines and internal control activities.

WHO YOU ARE

  • You are based in Rio de Janeiro (this is a hybrid position in Botafogo)
  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field, with expected graduation date in 2027 or later. 
  • A student with strong analytical skills and a desire to learn more about finance and corporate operations.
  • You are comfortable using Excel or Google Sheets and familiar with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office tools.
  • Someone with basic understanding of accounting and finance concepts and curiosity to deepen your knowledge.
  • A good communicator who values collaboration and clarity in a team environment.
  • Able to communicate in advanced English (Spanish is a plus).
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and motivated by continuous learning and problem-solving.
