About the Role

As an Account Executive (Farmer) you will be responsible for driving revenue growth within the existing  VTEX Agentic CX Platform client base by identifying expansion opportunities and strengthening long-term partnerships.

In this role, you will act as both a trusted advisor and deal owner: leveraging your deep understanding of each client’s business to identify new use cases, positioning the VTEX Agentic CX Platform as a strategic solution, and leading the full expansion sales cycle. You will conduct tailored product presentations and demos, negotiate commercial terms, and ensure a seamless experience in collaboration with post-sales teams.

Your ultimate goal is to expand revenue through upsell and cross-sell, maximize client value, and close strategic, high-impact deals within your portfolio.

What you will do

  • Own account expansion: Manage the full upsell and cross-sell cycle within your client portfolio.
  • Identify opportunities: Proactively uncover client needs and map growth opportunities.
  • Run demos: Deliver tailored presentations connecting product capabilities to business value.
  • Negotiate & close deals: Build proposals, negotiate terms, and drive contract signature.
  • Communicate value: Clearly articulate ROI for both technical and executive stakeholders.
  • Grow relationships: Strengthen partnerships and expand presence within accounts.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally: Work with Customer Success, Product, and Marketing to ensure a seamless client experience.

Who you are

  • You must be located in São Paulo.
  • You have proven experience in sales roles (Account Executive, Account Manager, or similar), preferably focused on account growth (farming) in SaaS, Digital Commerce, or related industries.
  • You have advanced English (Spanish is a plus).
  • You have experience managing and expanding existing client portfolios, with a strong track record in upsell and cross-sell.
  • You combine strong commercial acumen with technical understanding, enabling you to navigate both business and solution-driven conversations.
  • You have excellent negotiation, communication, and storytelling skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at different levels.
  • You understand Retail, Marketplace, and Digital Commerce domains and their impact on customer experience.
  • You are results-driven, proactive, and motivated by growing revenue within your portfolio.
  • You thrive in collaborative environments and take ownership of long-term client success.
