As a Solutions Engineer, you will be the technical liaison between our product, sales, and customer success teams. You will provide tailored solutions for clients in the commercial real estate sector. Your unique combination of property management experience and technical proficiency will help ensure that our clients maximize the value of our software.

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their property management workflows and identify opportunities to implement our software effectively.
  • Design and deliver tailored demonstrations for prospects and clients, showcasing how our platform solves specific challenges.
  • Build and present compelling sales presentations to support the sales team in driving client acquisition.
  • Provide technical support during the sales process, addressing questions and concerns about system integrations and functionalities.
  • Assist in onboarding and training clients, ensuring seamless adoption of our platform.
  • Leverage expertise in Angus and Building Engines to offer insights into best practices and operational efficiencies.
  • Act as a bridge between customers and internal teams, providing feedback to influence product development.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to software configuration and integrations.
  • Partner with the sales team to develop and execute strategies for prospect engagement and client retention.

What Makes You a Great Fit?

  • 3+ years of experience in commercial real estate property management.
  • Proficiency with property management software platforms such as Angus and Building Engines.
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to understand and communicate complex software solutions.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and with clients.
  • Proven experience working with property managers, tenants, and real estate stakeholders.
  • Experience with creating and delivering software demonstrations and sales presentations.
  • Based in the New York City area, with the ability to travel locally as needed.
  • This role requires you to work from our NYC office 4 days a week

Preferred Experience

  • Experience with additional property management or tenant experience software platforms.
  • Knowledge of commercial real estate operational workflows, including tenant relations, maintenance, and reporting.
  • Familiarity with API integrations or technical solution delivery.

Pay Transparency

At VTS, we pride ourselves on articulating a clear and transparent philosophy around equitable, impartial compensation that will allow us to recruit and retain an exceptional team. The base salary is market-driven at the time of offer and is based on tier 1 market data. The salary for this role will range between $100,000 and $125,000 and is determined by several factors, including your skills, prior relevant experience, quality of interviews, leveling, and geography.
