
Senior Product Manager - VTS Activate Property Operations
VTS Activate powers tenant and occupier experiences across office, industrial, and retail properties. The Property Operations module underpins the platform, streamlining maintenance, service requests, billing, and payments for property managers and tenants alike.
As Senior Product Manager, Property Operations, you’ll define the roadmap and strategy for how building teams manage operations more efficiently. You’ll work closely with engineering, design, and customer stakeholders to simplify workflows, improve response times, and elevate tenant satisfaction.
* This role is based in our New York office and requires in-office collaboration four days a week, with periodic travel to customers (approx. 10–20%). *
Here is what you can expect as a Senior Product Manager:
- Own the Property Operations roadmap, prioritizing work order management, preventive maintenance, service workflows, and billing automation.
- Deliver high-quality releases that streamline building operations, improve service efficiency, and enhance tenant satisfaction.
- Identify opportunities for automation and AI, enabling intelligent triage, classification, and scheduling of service requests.
- Integrate with third-party systems like facilities management, IoT, and accounting platforms to expand ecosystem value.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, design, operations, and customer teams to drive execution and adoption.
- Run discovery with property and facilities managers to validate needs, prototype ideas, and measure success through key performance indicators.
- Ensure compliance and reliability, partnering with security and infrastructure teams to maintain uptime, data privacy, and operational integrity.
To succeed in this role, you have:
- 5+ years of SaaS product management experience, with at least 2 years owning a core module.
- Experience in property operations, facilities management, or related software systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, using data to guide prioritization and decisions.
- Ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
- Familiarity with APIs, mobile/web development, and integration management.
- Customer empathy and passion for improving the tenant and property manager experience.

Pay Transparency
At VTS, we pride ourselves on articulating a clear and transparent philosophy around equitable, impartial compensation that will allow us to recruit and retain an exceptional team. The base salary is market-driven at the time of offer and is based on tier 1 market data. The salary for this role will range between $163,600 and $200,000 and is determined by several factors, including your skills, prior relevant experience, quality of interviews, leveling, and geography.
