Merchandising Analyst, Contact Lens Business

Warby Parker is on the lookout for a forward-thinking Analyst to support the long-term strategy for our growing contact lens business. Reporting to the Contacts Business Manager, you’ll oversee weekly sales figures and analytics on our in-house lens brand, Scout, as well as the third-party contacts we carry. We’ll count on you to take a hard look at our contacts performance and make strategic recommendations for improvement and growth. This is a highly analytical and strategic role for someone who is resourceful and excited to help inform our evolving contacts offering. Sound a lot like you? Read on!

What you’ll do:

  • Analyze and report on weekly contacts performance
  • Support the development of long-term strategy and investigate demand around product offerings, pricing, and services
  • Collaborate across departments to gain insights into our purchase behavior as the business evolves 
  • Partner with our FP&A and Planning teams to analyze pricing and develop a thoughtful pricing strategy
  • Work with the Performance Marketing team to assess impact from marketing initiatives and develop recommendations for the future
  • Evaluate channel performance and ways to grow with our Digital Product and Retail teams
  • Research new trends within the contacts market to identify areas of growth and recommend new launches with the Planning and Consumer Insights teams

Who you are:

  • Backed by 1+ years of experience in a highly analytical and strategic role in healthcare, retail, or consumer products (e.g., management consulting, business analytics, financial planning and analysis, inventory management)
  • A detail-oriented, operationally minded thinker who understands product life cycle and customer behavior
  • A crystal-clear communicator, both in writing and in person, who’s experienced in translating data into strategic recommendations
  • Able to develop analysis to support complex, strategic problem solving
  • Intellectually curious and eager to learn
  • Proactive and comfortable working through uncertainty
  • Not on the Office of Inspector General’s List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE)

Extra credit:

  • Experience with SQL and using data visualization tools such as Looker or Tableau

New York Pay Range

$61,250 - $70,000 USD
