Manager, Growth (Online)

New York, NY

Warby Parker is on the lookout for a data-driven Manager to oversee and grow our SEM, display, retargeting, and SEO programs. Reporting to the Director of Growth, the primary responsibility of this role is to optimize and expand our SEM program to drive customer acquisition online, offline, and across our mobile apps. Our ideal candidate is a highly experienced media buyer with a track record of efficiently scaling paid media programs. Sound a lot like you? Read on!

What you’ll do:

  • Fully own the end-to-end management of Warby Parker’s SEM program, from defining strategy to day-to-day optimization and reporting (a key function of this role will be scaling our SEM program while ensuring we are meeting performance and efficiency metrics like CAC and ROAS)
  • Closely manage campaign budgets and spend pacing, including budget vs. actuals reporting
  • Assist the Growth Director with performance forecasting and reporting on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and surface opportunities to test new products, ad formats, and emerging tools/technologies within paid channels
  • Develop and implement long-term testing roadmaps, including planning, implementation, reporting, and recaps
  • Manage our external vendor and partner with internal teams to implement SEO strategy, including site optimizations and expansion of on-site content strategy
  • Develop a long-term growth strategy for our display and retargeting programs and manage the day-to-day optimization of those programs

Who you are:

  • Backed by 5+ years of hands-on experience managing direct-response SEM accounts (direct-to-consumer or ecommerce experience required; agency experience preferred)
  • Equipped with experience managing scaled, complex SEM (both Search and Shopping) programs with annual spend >$20MM
  • Skilled at managing, optimizing, and testing product feeds within PMAX and Shopping campaigns
  • A self-starter with a high level of ownership over your work—this role requires the ability to operate independently, proactively problem solve, and always come to the table with a point of view
  • An expert user of Google and Bing Ads, with deep expertise in strategic account/campaign setup and structure, optimization techniques, platform features, and bid strategy and management
  • Highly analytical and comfortable working with large data sets. You should be able to efficiently distill insights from complex and sometimes conflicting data.
  • Experienced using MMM or MTA models to understand channel performance; comfortable navigating the nuances of different measurement types and able to draw conclusions from ambiguous data
  • Someone with knowledge of on-site and off-site SEO best practices, including an understanding of technical SEO
  • Experienced in managing and scaling display and retargeting programs
  • Not on the Office of Inspector General’s List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE)

About Us:

Warby Parker was founded with a mission: to inspire and impact the world with vision, purpose, and style.

We're constantly asking ourselves how we can do more and make a greater impact, and that starts by reimagining everything that a company and industry can be. We want to demonstrate that a business can scale while doing good in the world, without charging a premium for it. And we’ve learned that it takes creativity, empathy, and innovation to achieve that goal.

Since the day we launched in 2010, we’ve pioneered ideas, designed products, and developed technologies that help people see. We offer everything you need for happier eyes at a price that leaves you with money in your pocket, from designer-quality glasses and contacts to eye exams and vision tests, and you can meet us online, at our stores, or even in your home. Wherever and whenever you need it, we’re there to make exceptional vision care simple and accessible. (Delightful, too.)

Ultimately, we believe in vision for all, which is why for every pair of glasses or sunglasses we sell, a pair of glasses is distributed to someone in need through our Buy a Pair, Give a Pair program.
