Freelance Producer/Editor
Freelance Producer / Editor
Overview:
We’re building a roster of talented freelance Producer/Editors to partner with our in-house creative studio. (This is a freelance, project-based role – not a full-time position with benefits.)
As a part of our network, you’ll collaborate on a range of projects from concept to final delivery, working across branded content, campaigns, and social-first storytelling. We’re looking for creative problem-solvers who can balance both the production mindset (organizing shoots, managing logistics, capturing content) and the editorial craft (cutting compelling stories, refining visuals, adding motion or graphics when needed).
Being active in the cannabis community and a regional expert in your area is a major plus – we value people who know their local culture and can help us capture authentic stories.
The impact you'll make:
- Produce, shoot and edit content across digital and social platforms
- Manage projects from pre-production through pos
- Collaborate with our in-house creative team to deliver high-quality on-brand work
- Adapt quickly to different styles, formats, and timelines
What you've accomplished:
- Strong reel showcasing both production and editing skills
- Proven experience creating content for brands, agencies, or media companies
- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
- Knowledge of industry-standard tools
- Professional, flexible and collaborative attitude
How it works:
- This is freelance, project-based work –assignments will vary in scope and timing
- You’ll be part of our Producer Network, giving you access to upcoming projects
- Pay is project-based and competitive, depending on scope
Where we are looking:
- Northern California
- Bay Area, California
- Southern California
- Arizona
- Colorado
- Illinois
- Michigan
- New Jersey
- Florida
- Ohio
- Missouri
- Massachusetts
$600–$1,500 per project, depending on complexity and turnaround time. Final rate will be confirmed and agreed upon prior to the start of a project.
If you’re a versatile creative who thrives in both production and post, we’d love to add you to our network.
Apply with your portfolio/reel and a quick intro about your experience.
