This role is onsite 5 days a week in Fremont, CA
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage Employee Relations at Weee! by identifying, investigating, and resolving complex and sensitive HR issues while ensuring compliance and fostering positive workplace relations.
- Investigate highly sensitive HR and employee relations matters, including conducting interviews; analyzing data from internal systems; case adjudication; consulting and collaborating with HR Business Partners (HRBPs), Legal, and third-party vendors; preparing reports; and owning investigation outcomes and closeout.
- Independently manage assigned ER casework, bringing investigations to closure quickly, thoroughly, and definitively.
- Advise on and oversee disciplinary, remediation, and corrective action plans in partnership with HRBPs, Legal, and business leaders.
- Design, collect, and analyze ER case data and employee feedback to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for proactive issue mitigation and continuous improvement.
- Partner cross-functionally with HR, Operations, Logistics, and Safety teams to support operational goals while maintaining fair and consistent employee relations practices.
- Guide, coach, and train people managers on performance management, disciplinary actions, and foundational Employee Relations practices in alignment with company philosophy and policies.
- Handle sensitive, urgent, and crisis-oriented situations with sound judgment, discretion, and under tight timelines; travel as necessary.
- Lead the development, review, and coordination of Employee Relations policies and people programs to ensure they are scalable, compliant, aligned with company values, and support a great place to work for all Weee! employees.
- Partner in the review and evolution of people programs, policies, and practices to strengthen workplace culture, fairness, and transparency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or specialized training in labor/employee relations preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
- Substantial experience in Employee Relations and/or HR Business Partner roles, including complex investigations and advisory work.
- Deep subject matter expertise in U.S. employment laws and regulations (e.g., Title VII, FEHA, EEOC, ADA, FMLA, FLSA).
- Proven experience conducting investigative fieldwork, including interviews, data analysis, documentation, summaries, and timelines.
- Demonstrated ability to balance legal requirements, business objectives, and individual employee needs.
- Experience supporting both salaried and hourly workforces in high-headcount environments such as corporate, retail, fulfillment centers, distribution centers, or manufacturing.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, coaching, influencing, and facilitation skills.
- Ability to work effectively cross-functionally with HR, Operations, Legal, and Safety teams.
- Comfortable operating in fast-paced, high-growth environments and managing sensitive or crisis situations with professionalism and discretion.

Compensation Range
- The US base salary range for this full-time position is $153,000-180,500
- This role may be eligible to discretionary bonus, incentives and benefits
- Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location
