About the role:

The Client Services team has ultimate responsibility for the creative output of our campaigns and programs. Client Services will have a helicopter view over all parts of a collaboration and will work with the expert teams and specialist partners (both internally and externally) to bring a brand’s creative vision to life. This will include helping brand partners to access Whalar’s full suite of casting and production services to tap into the right communities in order to tell the right stories through the right voices. The Client Services team are the gatekeepers and guardians of the brands we work with. 

The team has three core functions: 

  1. Oversee client relationships, budgets and timings across any executional workflows
  2. Act as the central resource that brings in the right expertise at the right time 
  3. Facilitate retention and client satisfaction through excellent operational and servicing standards, and quality creative output

Here’s what you’ll do day to day:

  • Act as a senior liaison with our clients, content creators, cross functional teams and other partners, ensuring the delivery of flawless campaigns through exemplary client service
  • Manage the team’s day-to-day tasks and operations of campaign delivery, with support from Director 
  • Be a positive, solutions-first role model and expertly mentor, train and develop team members through robust career pathing
  • Competently and confidently deliver campaigns across all social media & content platforms, mainly TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube
  • Maintain project workflow tools (e.g. Echo, trackers), templates and ensure no silos between project teams
  • Assist team in creator negotiations (where applicable) with support from Director
  • Manage all contracting alongside the Business Affairs team and creators/agents
  • Track budgets and financial tracking on all spends, ensuring budgets are fully optimized, responsible for campaign reconciliation
  • Work alongside the Measurement, Media & Analytics team to build campaign wrap reports and other ad-hoc reporting deliverables
  • Maintain a pulse on all things social media: the landscape, creator news, emerging platforms, creators, trends, etc. 
  • Support in new business pitches
  • Have high trust with leadership and showcase exceptional client and objection-handling skills, able to serve as a point of escalation

Here’s what we’re looking for:

  • 6+ years’ agency or brand experience, including team management
  • Have strong detail-oriented communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Have a solid understanding of the creator economy, social media advertising ecosystem and an insatiable appetite for learning about industry innovations
  • Appreciate and understand the value of top quality creativity
  • Be a curious self-starter with a problem-solving mindset and a proactive, can do attitude
  • Experience with gaming brands and creators is a plus
  • Proven track record of successful program delivery and account growth with large customer accounts
  • Great management skills, a natural leader and motivator of people

This hybrid role, based in New York, NY, offers flexibility and collaboration, allowing you to choose any three days a week to work from our vibrant office. The salary range for this role is $100,000 - $115,000 and serves as a general guideline reflecting the potential compensation for the role. The final salary offer will be determined based on a comprehensive evaluation of the candidate's experience, expertise, alignment with the position's requirements, and, ultimately, budget approvals.
