š» Role
- This role will own the efforts to build our outsourcing footprint from 0-to-1
- Lead the strategic selection, evaluation, and launch of our first outsourcing partner/site
- Drive the planning, budget, and performance of the outsourced partner and programs
- Support and lead critical initiatives to scale existing/new support and trust & safety programs
- Identify trends to improve our products, support processes, optimize workflows and improve operational efficiency in order to increase customer satisfaction and product adoption
- Communicate clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external partners, including the ability to synthesize feedback and adjust plans accordingly
- Effectively work cross-functionally with a broad range of stakeholders
Team members in this role are required to be within commuting distance of our New York, San Francisco, Phoenix, or Los Angeles hubs.

As our next Vendor Manager, you should have a minimum of 8 years of diverse experience in scalable operations, ideally with experience in managing external (3rd party vendor partners) stakeholders, plus:
- Experience in operations, sales or service in a high paced ecommerce environment preferred
- Excellent communicator with strong cross-functional skills across different team members
- Ability to shift priorities quickly, while maintaining a high degree of organization and control
- Strong analytical skills, data orientation, and metrics driven operator
- Experience in project management and managing strategic projects with cross-functional teams
- Track record of driving process improvements & cost optimizations

- Experience starting from zero. Leading the vendor/site selection-to-launch process and strategy
š°Compensation
For Full-Time (Salary) US-based applicants: $140,000/year to $165,000/year + benefits + equity.
The salary range may be inclusive of several levels that would be applicable to the position. Final salary will be based on a number of factors including, level, relevant prior experience, skills, and expertise. This range is only inclusive of base salary, not benefits (more details below) or equity.
