In 2021, our product won “Innovation of the Year” for our industry, and now we’re excited to bring our software platform to the world.

Wheelhouse’s ideal Account Executive (AE) is a creative and collaborative individual, excited to speak to potential client & partners on a daily basis about revenue management & industry trends in the rapidly evolving vacation & short-term rental space.

As is par for the course, the ability to enthusiastically convey a compelling value prop, repeatedly, is essential for success. We believe the ideal candidate will have industry knowledge and experience. We have a fun story to share, a platform with an NPS of 60+, strong retention, and a product team that ships meaningful, new features on a bi-weekly basis. In short— we're making weekly progress toward our goal of being a beloved and essential platform.

We enjoy teammates who can think strategically and critically, and always have an eye toward scaling our platform ever faster.

What you'll be doing:

  • Maintain a funnel of 50 - 100 active prospects/leads through various phases of the Wheelhouse sales funnel, from prospecting through onboarding.
  • Meet with prospective clients via phone/video conference, building relationships, resolving customer objections, answering questions and demoing various features of the Wheelhouse Platform.
  • Achieving Monthly, Quarterly and Annual sales goals (evaluated by portfolio size of deal)
  • Learn to use the Wheelhouse platform to “show” vs “tell” customers how they can successfully onboard to & utilize the Wheelhouse platform.
  • Coordinate with Sales Engineers and Sales Development Representatives for support in successful customer onboarding.
  • Develop personal strategies for outreach and sales relationship development.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve sales processes and strategies to optimize Wheelhouse sales infrastructure.
  • Shape our product, to make it ever easier to sell to your/our potential clients
  • Inform our marketing team as to potential opportunities to better communicate the Wheelhouse value prop.
  • Building a massive, industry leading company with a passionate team.
  • More?  Skies the limit for growth.  As noted, we like to move fast :)

Your first 90 Days:

You’ll work directly with Wheelhouse sales teammates & leadership - observing conversations with clients, learning the platform, learning the systems/software our team leverages, and mastering the ins/outs of our industry.

As you gain comfort with the product & space (est. 3 - 5 weeks), you’ll start to develop and maintain a personal funnel of leads and prospects through all phases - starting with smaller clients and eventually taking on larger client relationships.

Processes and procedures will be provided to you, however as this is a collaborative & fast evolving startup environment, which means we are excited to work with you to strategize, optimize and improve processes, strategies and experiments for the benefit of the entire Wheelhouse team.

Perks and Benefits:

About Us:

Wheelhouse is a fintech platform for the $500B+ flex rental space. Most specifically, we enable short & mid-length stay providers with 1 to 100,000+ listings to earn 20%+ more from their rental properties.

In 2021, our target customer segment voted our platform “Innovation of the Year” at the Data & Revenue Management conference. This sentiment is shared by our customers, as evidenced by our platforms low churn and rapidly growing ARPU. In 2022, we closed a significant funding round, with participation from many of the best tech, travel & real estate investors. We’re lucky to have a long runway, low burn, and rapidly growing revenue.

As a team, we enjoy shipping products our customers love, on time or ahead of schedule, while balancing work/life & having fun together. We’re best described as transparent & collaborative, and we strive to set our teammates up for success - both professionally & personally. We’re a remote-first, work-anywhere, and “yes - you should make time for that adventure/vacation” company, who believes that “healthy hustle” is the key to good growth.

We’re experienced business & product builders who have founded multiple companies together, know our category extremely well, and recognize how rare/special it is to be perfectly positioned around a big opportunity with a very strong cross-functional team.

We’d be eager to say hello and learn more about you!

Classification of protected categories is as follows:

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
