Job Description: 

We're looking for an Operations Coordinator & TD Support to join our dynamic team at WorldStrides!

In this role, you'll be at the heart of our tour operations—securing reservations for iconic sites, attractions, and meals across exciting destinations from July to January, and then shifting gears to prepare and process trip packets from February to June. You’ll work closely with our Director of Operations and collaborate with teams that bring educational travel to life.

Responsibilities:

  • Working closely with Operations Coordinators to secure reservations in their assigned destinations
  • Ensure tour components are secured in a timely manner
  • Continually thinking of solutions that improve efficiency
  • Managing and meeting timelines
  • Sending tasks to group TA’s for pre order requests
  • Book DC guides
  • Help keep the supplier database current
  • Reviewing Vendor Packets to ensure all reservations were made correctly and sufficient notes have been made
  • Marking packets as sent in M3 and emailing/ mailing them to the Tour Director
  • Manage ticket inventory
  • Any other responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated competitive spirit with a track record of winning
  • Minimum 2-year college degree (or equivalent business experience) – business or hospitality industry preferred
  • Minimum 1 year experience in managing reservations
  • Ability to work with little supervision
  • Truly able to remain calm in stressful situations
  • Goal- focused, self- sufficient individual who takes initiative
  • Responsive team player
  • Exceptional work ethic
  • Professional appearance
  • Strong computer skills (i.e, Microsoft Word, Advanced Excel, Power Point). Use of a CRM system preferred
