This isn't just about numbers; it's about providing the critical financial insights that drive strategic decision-making across WPP's vast global network.

This high-visibility role offers direct collaboration with senior stakeholders, empowering you to influence business strategy and contribute directly to WPP's success. If you have strong analytical skills, an eagle eye for detail, and a passion for delivering impactful financial information, we want to hear from you.

What you'll be doing:

This role puts you at the heart of WPP's financial strategy, empowering you to drive performance and provide critical insights. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Transforming Data into Insight: You won't just compile data; you'll unearth its story. Analyse vast datasets for reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, identifying crucial trends, issues, and growth opportunities. Your reports and compelling visualizations will be the bedrock of informed decisions.
  • Mastering Financial Planning & Modelling: Take ownership of our financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, elevating them to best-in-class. You'll design, build, and maintain sophisticated financial models that are essential for strategic decision-making and performance analysis, championing accuracy and efficiency.
  • Forging Strategic Partnerships: Beyond numbers, you'll build relationships. Act as a trusted advisor, providing financial insights and actively collaborating with diverse departments. You'll lead workshops to align on assumptions, challenge thinking, and develop realistic projections that drive collective financial success.
  • Delivering High-Stakes Reporting: Prepare and present critical monthly management reports, quarterly trading analyses, and board materials. You'll synthesize complex data into clear, actionable narratives and visualizations, ensuring senior leadership has the precise information needed to steer WPP forward.
  • Driving Performance through Variance Analysis: Proactively diagnose financial performance by conducting in-depth variance analysis. You'll provide timely, value-driven insights, pinpointing root causes and recommending effective corrective actions to keep us on track.
  • Monitoring & Optimizing Performance: Play a key role in continuously tracking financial, business, and operational KPIs, ensuring we're meeting and exceeding our targets.
  • Providing Agile Financial Expertise: Be the reliable source for ad-hoc financial queries, delivering timely and accurate information to support immediate business needs across the organization.
  • Championing Process Innovation: Actively identify and implement improvements to our FP&A processes, enhancing efficiency and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.

What you'll need:

We're seeking a highly skilled and collaborative financial professional ready to make a significant impact. If you possess the following, we encourage you to apply:

  • Foundational Knowledge: A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Proven Track Record: Hands-on experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or similar roles, demonstrating increasing responsibility and impact.
  • Professional Credentials: A fully completed professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA), or part qualified on your way to achieving full qualification.
