WPP IT are the technology solutions partner for the WPP Media group of agencies and are accountable for co-ordinating and assuring end-to-end change delivery, managing the WPP Media IT technology life cycle and innovation pipeline.  

This role will work as part of the Business Platforms Team for Nordics. This position will work with the local Nordic team, business partner and business users to ensure the delivery, availability and support of several key media-finance applications. This position will also have a responsibility for understanding client business and technical requirements and then delivering appropriate end-to-end solutions consisting of component-based, services-oriented applications. The position will also be responsible for supporting existing applications and processes.  

What you'll be doing:

• Become a technical expert: Be the go-to resource for our software and technologies, bridging communication between business users, developers, and vendors. 
• Build strong partnerships: Cultivate impactful relationships with internal teams (developers, engineers, program managers, stakeholders) and external partners.
• Drive collaborative solutions: Work closely with diverse cross-functional teams to deliver successful outcomes. 
• Ensure application excellence: Help the team meet and exceed support goals for our key applications. 
• Manage projects and mitigate risks: Oversee the full lifecycle of multiple projects, proactively identifying and addressing technical risks. 
• Champion security & compliance: Implement and uphold security measures, protecting sensitive data and ensuring regulatory adherence. 
• Contribute to strategic planning: Provide technical insights as a Subject Matter Expert during project scoping and feasibility, guiding viable solutions. 

Who you'll be working with:

You'll collaborate with a diverse group of colleagues across WPP IT and WPP Media, including developers, engineers, project managers, business stakeholders, and external partners, all united in delivering innovative tech solutions.

What you'll need:

• A background in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field is valued.
• Experience with project management methodologies (Agile preferred).
• Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is a bonus.
• Understanding of industry compliance standards and regulations.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices.
• Experience with data and applications in Databricks, Azure, and GCP is a strong plus.
