Role Summary and Impact
As a key part of the business, the VP, Client Leadership is responsible for overall management of the client relationship, the strategic direction of the business and the development of the account team. The VP effectively leverages experience, knowledge and strong digital acumen to push innovative thinking and set challenging team goals and objectives balancing client, company and team needs. This position will have day-to-day relationships with senior client leaders and serves as the key contact for partner agencies.
Skills and Experience
- Extensive Media Leadership: 12+ years of media agency experience, with deep expertise in digital strategy, channel planning, and performance optimization across Search, Social, SEO, eCommerce, and Programmatic.
- Strategic Client Partnership: Proven ability to lead senior client relationships, define business goals, and deliver data-driven strategies that drive measurable outcomes and long-term growth.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience leveraging performance data, KPIs, and testing frameworks to inform strategic direction and optimize results.
- Business & Financial Acumen: Demonstrated experience managing P&L, forecasting budgets, and improving account profitability and revenue performance.
- Campaign & Channel Leadership: Expertise in overseeing end-to-end campaign strategy and execution, including audience targeting, optimization, and innovation across channels.
- Leadership & Team Development: Strong track record of leading high-performing teams, including coaching, mentoring, and developing talent while ensuring high-quality output and operational efficiency.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Experience leading complex, cross-functional teams and managing integrated workstreams across internal and external stakeholders.
- Communication & Influence: Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and represent the organization externally.
- Industry Expertise & Agility: Deep understanding of media and marketing trends, with the ability to adapt to change and identify new opportunities for growth and innovation.
