SEO CONTENT MANAGER
Key Responsibilities
- Own the content strategy and editorial calendar, prioritizing topics by search opportunity and AI-citation potential.
- Direct keyword research and search intent analysis, ensuring all content follows on-page SEO best practices and E-E-A-T principles.
- Build topic clusters and pillar pages for topical authority; refresh existing content to maintain rankings and relevance.
- Create "LLM-ready" content (FAQs, comparisons, listicles, how-tos, case studies) using answer-first design, structured for AI extraction and citation.
- Embed original data, statistics, and expert insights to make content citation-worthy, with clear heading hierarchies and modular formatting.
- Strengthen entity authority via author bios, About pages, and schema markup (Article, FAQ, HowTo).
- Conduct prompt audits to identify how content is referenced across AI models and close citation gaps.
- Track performance using Google Analytics, Search Console, and SEO tools, plus GEO metrics (AI citation frequency, share of voice, citation sentiment, AI-referred traffic).
- Collaborate with SEO specialists, PR, product, and development teams; report strategy and results to leadership.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3+ years in content marketing/SEO content.
- Proven track record of growing organic traffic and search visibility through content.
- Solid grasp of SEO fundamentals and how LLMs/AI engines select, summarize, and cite content.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and editorial judgment, balanced with data-driven optimization.
- Proficiency with Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Google Analytics, Search Console, and CMS platforms.
