
Administrative Assistant
XLA is looking for an Administrative Assistant to work onsite at a federal agency located in Arlington, VA (metro accessible). The Administrative Assistant's competencies will encompass very high-level skills in the following areas: organization; time management; ability to multitask effectively; attention to detail, computer literacy; and well-developed interpersonal skills.
Primary Job Responsibilities may include:
- Assisting the DEA Mobility Program with discrepancies regarding funding and invoices.
- Working with the DEA mobility program to complete applicable ‘Tech Refreshes’ with current cell phones to include meetings with prospective vendors, preparing for a Refresh, issuing new phone/devices to users and transferring device data into UFMS for improved tracking.
- Accessing UFMS to complete new acquisitions, transfers, disposals and corrections of tech property.
- Reviewing purchase requests for accuracy and completeness.
- Processing property transfers in the UFMS system.
- Working closely with the DEA Unit Chief to ensure any refresh projects are completed along with converting all of the DEA mobile phones over to a new Network.
- Ability to attend high level meetings, interact and converse with all levels of management, both Federal staff and contractors, and have the ability to provide backup for multiple people on various tasks.
- Supporting management personnel by answering phones and maintaining Outlook calendar, and other administrative duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma and two years of experience
- Strong MS Office Skills
- Excellent writing and verbal communication
- Have a willingness to educate themselves and work with current business processes
- Ability to present new ideas or efficient processes
- Must be articulate, ambitious, and a self-starter
Clearance Requirements: Must have the ability to obtain Agency Suitability

Salary: $42,000-$45000
