As the Director of Product Marketing for AI & Emerging Products, you will lead the go-to-market strategy, messaging, and positioning for our AI-driven and next-generation product offerings. Reporting to the VP of Product Marketing, you will define how we bring our AI-powered and agentic AI solutions to market, ensuring differentiation and adoption in an evolving competitive landscape.

With 10+ years of experience in enterprise B2B SaaS, including a strong background in AI-driven products, you bring deep industry knowledge and a proven track record in positioning technical, complex innovations for broad market success. You will work closely with Product, Sales, and Customer Success leadership to influence the product roadmap, define market opportunities, and establish our leadership in AI-powered solutions.

What You’ll Do

GTM Strategy & Execution 

  • Develop and execute the GTM strategy for AI-powered and emerging products, ensuring alignment across product, sales, and marketing.
  • Shape market category creation for agentic AI and next-gen AI-driven solutions, defining how we lead in this space.
  • Drive full-funnel marketing initiatives that optimize awareness, pipeline generation, adoption, and retention.
  • Partner with Demand Generation and Field Marketing to craft integrated campaigns that effectively position AI innovations.
  • Lead successful product launches, ensuring internal readiness and external market impact.

Messaging, Positioning & Thought Leadership

  • Establish the company as a thought leader in AI & agentic AI solutions by developing content, speaking at industry events, and engaging with analysts.
  • Develop compelling, differentiated messaging that communicates the value of AI-powered solutions to diverse stakeholders, from C-suite executives to technical decision-makers.
  • Translate AI capabilities into tangible business value, ensuring messaging resonates with enterprise buyers.
  • Define ideal customer profiles (ICPs), personas, and AI-specific use cases to guide sales and marketing efforts.

Competitive & Market Intelligence

  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to anticipate trends in AI-driven SaaS, machine learning, and agentic AI solutions.
  • Track the evolving regulatory, ethical, and business landscape of AI adoption to position our solutions effectively.
  • Equip internal teams with AI-specific competitive intelligence, battlecards, and positioning guides.

Sales Enablement & Field Readiness

  • Develop AI-focused sales playbooks, pitch decks, objection handling guides, and training materials.
  • Lead ongoing enablement sessions to ensure Sales and Customer Success teams can effectively position AI products.
  • Work with Pricing to develop AI product monetization strategies, ensuring the right packaging and positioning for enterprise buyers.

Product & Customer Advocacy

  • Serve as the voice of the customer to inform AI product roadmaps and ensure alignment with market needs.
  • Develop customer case studies and success stories that highlight the impact of AI solutions.
  • Build relationships with AI industry analysts, media, and influencers to enhance thought leadership and credibility.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Cultivate a culture of innovation, agility, and data-driven decision-making, ensuring maximum impact with lean resources.
  • Partner with senior leaders across Product, Engineering, and Sales to ensure a seamless GTM motion for AI offerings.
  • Operate hands-on when needed, balancing strategic leadership with tactical execution.

Metrics & Performance Optimization

  • Define and track key success metrics (pipeline influence, win/loss rates, adoption, and AI product engagement).
  • Leverage data-driven insights to optimize messaging, GTM execution, and market positioning.
  • Continuously iterate based on market feedback, performance data, and competitive movements.

What You Have

  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise B2B SaaS product marketing. 
  • 1+ year focused on AI-driven or emerging technologies.
  • Deep understanding of AI products, agentic AI solutions, machine learning models, and AI-powered automation.
  • Experience defining and executing GTM strategies for AI/ML products in competitive markets.
  • Ability to simplify complex AI technical concepts into compelling, differentiated messaging.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and technical product teams to translate AI capabilities into business value.
  • Expertise in local listings, reputation management, social media software, or related technologies.
  • Deep understanding of location-based businesses in financial services, healthcare, retail, and hospitality.
  • Strong executive presence with experience influencing VP/SVP-level product leaders and C-suite stakeholders.

Pay ranges at Yext are established based on an analysis of salaries for positions with a similar level of accountability and impact in the relevant labor market. Salary levels are expected to change to reflect an employee’s job performance (results and impact) over time. Salaries at the time of hire are typically offered in the lower to middle of the above-referenced range in order to provide the opportunity to reflect performance-based increases over time. In addition to base salaries, employees at Yext are typically eligible for a comprehensive package of benefits including medical, dental and vision benefits; life insurance; short term and long-term disability; 401(k) retirement plan; and vacation and sick leave. Successful candidates may also be eligible for equity (stock) based compensation and/or variable pay programs based on performance relative to goals and targets.


Annual Base Pay Range

$189,500 - $315,500 USD
