Manager, Acquisition Marketing - Contract

About the Role 

This role will be for maternity leave coverage spanning 18 weeks, allowing a 2-week onboarding and 2-week offboarding crossover with the current Marketing Manager. 

This role will be the sole team member of the acquisition team. We are looking for someone to develop and execute on acquisition strategy. We're looking for a data-driven performance marketer who will bring a strategic approach to optimizing and scaling Yieldstreet's performance marketing. You will manage our paid media, affiliate, and incentive programs, and lead the development of new channels and acquisition strategies alongside our agency and platform partners. You will have an interest in investing and financial topics, and want to work in a collaborative environment where you’ll own and execute your own domain while having plenty of opportunities to branch out to additional channels and marketing activities. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of digital media buying and marketing attribution systems. You are data-driven at your core, with a test-and-learn mindset that leads you to identify where growth opportunities lie. You combine a creative approach with analytical rigor to identify growth opportunities and new campaign ideation.

This role will be based in our NYC office, or remote (US based).

What you'll do:

  • Own paid media acquisition strategy 
  • Oversee efficient execution of media dollars with the help of various agencies 
  • Manage media agencies overseeing paid search, paid social, and affiliate
  • Evaluate campaigns on CAC/LTV models to determine profitability
  • Identify opportunities to expand our media footprint with new partners and channels
  • Develop and deploy new creative for all advertising platforms
  • Compile detailed analyses, set up A/B tests, and ensure accounts are hitting and exceeding acquisition targets
  • Help with landing page optimization
  • Generate reports for senior management

What you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree, Business/Marketing degrees a plus
  • 6-8 years’ experience in performance/acquisition marketing
  • Media agency experience
  • Left brain/Right brain combo - looking for someone with analytical skills as well as an eye for creative.
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Knowledge of marketing tracking pixels, UTM tags, and other attribution systems
  • Superior interpersonal communication skills
  • Desire to own your domain and dictate holistic strategies for growth
  • Proven skills in problem-solving, organization, attention to detail, and priority setting
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment

Bonus points for:

  • Knowledge of alternative investments
  • Working in a compliance-heavy industry (Pharma, Finance, etc.)

Compensation:

  • HIRING SALARY RANGE: $60-70/hr for 18 weeks (Actual salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) Compensation package also includes generous, bonus, benefits and equity.
