Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and strategic Senior Manager, Pricing to join our Product Operations team. This role will be pivotal in driving pricing excellence across our product portfolio, ensuring alignment with business objectives, market demands, and customer value. The ideal candidate will combine a deep understanding of pricing strategies with exceptional analytical and operational skills to develop, implement, and optimize pricing models that accelerate revenue growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
Pricing Strategy & Execution
- Develop and lead comprehensive pricing strategies across all product lines to maximize revenue potential and market competitiveness.
- Analyze market trends, competitive positioning, and customer behavior to inform pricing models.
- Develop and maintain pricing models and tools to support pricing decisions and track key performance indicators (KPIs) across different customer segments, regions, and industries.
- Collaborate with product, finance, and sales teams to align pricing strategies with broader business goals.
Operational Excellence
- Build and maintain a centralized pricing management system to streamline the testing, tracking, and iteration of pricing models.
- Establish and monitor KPIs for pricing performance, such as ARR growth, customer acquisition cost (CAC), and customer lifetime value (CLV).
- Drive the integration of pricing strategies into product launches, ensuring seamless execution and cross-functional alignment.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with product management to ensure pricing strategies align with product value propositions and roadmap priorities.
- Work closely with sales and customer success teams to gather insights on customer behavior, pricing objections, and competitive feedback.
- Collaborate with finance to assess the financial impact of pricing decisions and model pricing scenarios.
Continuous Improvement
- Develop frameworks for dynamic pricing adjustments based on evolving market conditions, customer insights, and product performance.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices and innovative pricing techniques, bringing new ideas to improve pricing strategies.
- Conduct post-mortem analyses of pricing initiatives to identify lessons learned and opportunities for refinement.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or related field. MBA or equivalent advanced degree is a plus.
- Experience:
- 5 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related field, with at least 2 years in pricing roles.
- Proven track record of developing and executing data-driven pricing strategies that drive revenue growth.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong proficiency in pricing tools and analytics platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, SQL).
- Familiarity with A/B testing methodologies and statistical analysis.
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with financial modeling.

- Strategic Thinking: Ability to think long-term while managing immediate operational priorities.
