WHO YOU ARE: 

The ITO Operations Knowledgebase Intern will play a key role in developing and enhancing AI-driven documentation systems that support operational excellence within Zinnia’s IT Organization. This individual is detail-oriented, curious, and eager to learn. You bring a positive attitude, strong technical aptitude, and a collaborative mindset. You’re passionate about using technology and automation to make processes smarter, faster, and more efficient. 

WHAT YOU’LL DO: 

  • Contribute to the design and development of AI-generated documentation systems for ITO Operations.
  • Extract documents and related data from Atlassian IT ticketing systems and Confluence to create structured and searchable knowledge repositories.
  • Gather and process documents and transcriptions from Zoom calls and other support channels to enrich knowledge content.
  • Utilize APIs to interact with internal systems and pre-process extracted data for AI-based document generation.
  • Develop and test a web-based interface that integrates with AI tools to generate technical and process documentation based on user requirements.
  • Collaborate with IT, Engineering, and Operations teams to ensure the accuracy and consistency of knowledgebase content.
  • Participate in regular team reviews, share findings, and contribute to process improvements for document automation.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED: 

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any discipline), Information Systems, or a related technical field.
  • Interest in AI technologies, data processing, and web development.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Atlassian Jira, Confluence, and Zoom preferred.
  • Basic understanding of APIs, data extraction, and web interface development is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
  • Eagerness to learn new tools, technologies, and applications used within Zinnia’s IT ecosystem.

The expected hourly range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00, dependent on skills and location. The hourly range is a good faith estimate based on what a successful candidate might be paid in certain Company locations.
