About Zinnov

Zinnov is a global management consulting firm that helps organizations make decisions that actually get used — and deliver results that matter. For over two decades, we’ve partnered with leading enterprises, high-growth technology companies, and investors to answer some of the toughest questions they face:

  • Where should we invest?

  • How do we scale globally?

  • What capabilities will win in the next decade?

Our work shapes market entry strategies, global operating models, M&A decisions, and long-term growth bets. We’re known for being data-led, execution-focused, and outcome-driven — not opinion-heavy slideware.

At Zinnov, how you work matters as much as what you deliver. We value independent thinking, crisp communication, and early ownership. With 450+ professionals across 10 global offices, we work across industries including Digital Services, ER&D, Enterprise Software, Semiconductors, Healthcare, BFSI, Automotive, Media & Telecom, and Private Equity.

Zinnov isn’t for everyone. It’s for people who want steep learning curves, honest feedback, and the chance to see their work influence real business decisions — not just presentations.

Why Globalization Excellence (GE)

Zinnov’s Globalization Excellence (GE) practice helps enterprises build and scale Global Capability Centers (GCCs) end-to-end — from Design & Discovery to Build, Scale, and Run.

In GE, you don’t work in silos. You:

  • Own complex, end-to-end client journeys
  • Work across GCC advisory, managed services, and BOT / outsourcing models
  • Influence leadership decisions that shape long-term talent and operating strategies

This is where strategy meets execution — and where talent plays a defining role.

About the Role

As Chief of Staff, you will serve as both consulting leader and business builder. You will drive engagements that shape GCC strategies for global clients while also leading business development, thought leadership, and practice-building initiatives. This role demands a unique blend of consulting expertise, client engagement, team leadership, and strategic vision.

Key Responsibilities

Consulting & Client Engagement

  • Lead large, complex engagements to design, set up, and scale GCCs.
  • Advise CXOs and senior stakeholders on business, talent, technology, and transformation challenges.
  • Provide insights on AI adoption, automation, and digital engineering models.
  • Ensure delivery excellence, client satisfaction, and measurable business outcomes.

Business Development

  • Drive revenue growth via client acquisition, account mining, and relationship management.
  • Develop proposals and solutions tailored to C-suite priorities.
  • Build and manage a sustainable pipeline across industries and geographies.

Practice & Thought Leadership

  • Develop frameworks, playbooks, and service offerings to strengthen the GCC consulting practice.
  • Publish whitepapers and perspectives to position the firm as an industry leader in GCCs and AI consulting.
  • Represent the firm at conferences, forums, and client events.

People Leadership

  • Mentor and lead consultants/managers, ensuring career growth and performance excellence.
  • Foster a high-performance, collaborative culture with a client-first mindset.
  • Drive hiring, training, and capability development for the practice.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Consulting Expertise: Strong management consulting/strategy background.
  • Domain Knowledge: In-depth understanding of GCCs, offshoring, nearshoring, and enterprise transformation.
  • AI Fluency (Preferred): Awareness of AI/GenAI technologies and automation use cases relevant to GCCs.
  • Business Acumen: Proven success in business development, client management, and deal closure.
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to lead teams, manage large programs, and drive change.
  • Thought Leadership: Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to publish and speak externally.
  • Global Mindset: Experience working with multinational clients across industries and geographies.

Qualifications and Candidate Background

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 10–16 years’ experience in management consulting, strategy, or GCC advisory.
  • MBA from a premier institute or equivalent advanced degree (preferred).
  • Demonstrated success in leading consulting engagements and delivering measurable client impact.
  • Proven track record in business development and client acquisition.
  • AI literacy/fluency strongly preferred to guide clients on digital transformation and future-ready GCC models

If you enjoy operating as the right hand to senior leadership, driving high-stakes initiatives end-to-end, and building the operating rhythm that helps a center scale — this role offers both impact and growth.

Zinnov is an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to building an inclusive workplace. We welcome applications from individuals of all backgrounds, communities, and experiences.
