Senior Product Manager
Garner's mission is to transform the healthcare economy, delivering high quality and affordable care for all. By helping employers restructure their healthcare benefit to provide clear incentives and data-driven insights, we direct employees to higher quality and lower cost healthcare providers. The result is that patients get better health outcomes while doctors are rewarded for practicing well, not performing more procedures. We are backed by top-tier venture capital firms, are growing rapidly and looking to expand our team.
At the core of our product is a member-facing app, which employees use to find top doctors eligible for their Garner benefit and track their reimbursements over time. The Care Navigation team is responsible for the end-to-end member experience encompassing the application, pro-active outreach via several channels, and a hybrid human/concierge team to help them with any questions. This role will be required to go into our office in New York 3 days a week.
Responsibilities will include:
- Own a key part of the care navigation journey and associated technical surfaces, building out a vision and a prioritization for that area
- Own critical data products that drive how we decide which providers to show employees and how we measure our performance.
- Work with x-functional stakeholders to identify opportunities through research and data analysis, execute at high quality, and roll out new features to our internal teams, clients, and end-users
- Build proactive user experiences outside of the app that identify and reach out to members who would most benefit from Garner and provide information and incentives to drive engagement
- Define what success looks like, ensure we have the data in place to measure progress and rally the team around what winning looks like
The ideal candidate has:
- 4+ years of product management experience
- Experience with B2B2C or marketplace products
- Proficiency in SQL and data analysis
- A highly autonomous, self-starting mindset, thriving when given ownership of challenging, unscoped problems
- An insatiable appetite for learning, with a proven track record of mastering large, complex domains and becoming the go-to content expert
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate your vision and drive execution within your team and across stakeholders in the company
- A strong analytical mindset, consistently using data to inform your product intuition and decision-making
- Experience in software engineering or data science and/or a degree in computer science or engineering
- Authorized to work lawfully in the United States of America as Garner does not engage in immigration sponsorship at this time
What we look for at Garner:
- Mission First: Our mission is to transform our healthcare system, delivering high-quality and affordable care to all. Everything else is secondary.
- Expect Extraordinary: Our mission is audacious, so we will only succeed by producing exceptional results. We continually push ourselves and each other to new heights and beyond our comfort zones.
- Courageous Communication: Transparency and candor are imperative to realizing our potential as an organization and as individuals—even when uncomfortable. Many companies talk about these values. We live them.
- Supportive community: We know that people do their best work and learn the most when they feel genuinely supported and cared for. It’s also more fun that way.
The target salary range for this position is: $175,000-$220,000. Individual compensation for this role will depend on various factors, including qualifications, skills, and applicable laws. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible to participate in our equity incentive and competitive benefits plans.
