This is an on-site role at our headquarters in Burlington, MA. If you enjoy working with computers and electronics and are excited about robotics, this is a great first step into the industry.

What You'll Do

  • Perform machine bring-up on new robots, getting each one configured, connected, and ready for deployment
  • Use our internal tools to install software, run setup steps, and verify that each machine works as expected
  • Connect to robots remotely using SSH and other remote access tools
  • Assist with hardware work, including connecting components, checking cables, and helping diagnose hardware issues
  • Follow written procedures and checklists carefully and consistently
  • Document your work clearly, including setup results, issues found, and steps taken to fix them
  • Shift between tasks as priorities change throughout the day

What You Have

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Experience in a tech support, electronics repair, or IT help desk role (such as retail tech support or computer repair) is a plus
  • Experience working with robots or robotic systems is a plus
  • Basic batch or shell scripting experience is a plus, not a requirement
  • Exposure to SSH and remote access tools

Skills & Competencies

  • Comfortable with computers beyond everyday use, such as installing software, changing settings, and troubleshooting problems
  • Some exposure to the command line, SSH, or remote access tools, or a strong interest in learning them
  • Basic understanding of networking, such as IP addresses, Wi-Fi, and connecting devices to a network
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately
  • Strong documentation habits, so others can follow what you did
  • Ability to switch tasks on the fly and stay organized when priorities change
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work hands-on with robots and equipment in a lab or production environment
