What We Need

We are looking for a Staff Data Analyst to serve as a technical leader within our Business Intelligence team. This is a high-impact role designed for a seasoned expert who can bridge the gap between complex data engineering and actionable business strategy. You will be responsible for authoring the frameworks that ensure our data is scalable, trusted, and deeply integrated into the way we make decisions - setting the technical standard for how we extract value from our gaming portfolio.

The ideal candidate is a master of the "data lifecycle," passionate about mentoring others and elevating the technical bar of the entire analytics organization. You will be instrumental in building and evolving our unified semantic layers, designing rich, multi-source data models that harmonize player behavior, commercial, and operational data into a cohesive reporting ecosystem. You will work closely with Data Engineering, Data Science, Business Unit Data teams, and cross-functional business teams to ensure that our reporting infrastructure is not only reliable but serves as a strategic compass for 2K.

We need a visionary practitioner who can turn "vast amounts of data" into a unified, high-performance reporting ecosystem. Your work will empower stakeholders to move faster and more confidently, ultimately driving better experiences for our players and better outcomes for our partners.

What You’ll Do

  • Drive the evolution of our reporting data mart, designing and maintaining robust, performant base tables and semantic layers that serve as the foundation for all global reporting.
  • Establish and evangelize technical standards for the BI team, including best practices for SQL performance & modular data modeling.
  • Act as a strategic consultant to teams across 2K, ensuring that reporting data is optimized for downstream analytical teams and business end users.
  • Collaborate with Data Governance & Data Engineering to define and implement rigorous data quality standards, ensuring a "single source of truth" across all player and business metrics.
  • Bridge the gap between technical execution and business intent, translating complex data requirements into actionable roadmaps that support multi-title and live-service initiatives.
  • Serve as a technical force multiplier, elevating the team’s capabilities through thought leadership, peer mentorship, and the design of scalable frameworks that increase delivery velocity for the entire organization.
  • Drive continuous innovation by critically evaluating our analytical methodologies and delivery systems, proactively identifying opportunities to evolve our tech stack and mature our offerings to meet the shifting needs of the business.

What Will Make You A Great Fit

  • 7+ years of experience in BI, analytics engineering, or data analytics
  • SQL Mastery: Expert-level SQL skills with a focus on writing performant, modular, and maintainable code within cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery).
  • Extensive experience with modern BI stacks and a deep understanding of how to leverage tools like Tableau or Looker to build scalable, self-service ecosystems.
  • Expertise designing KPI frameworks, semantic data models, and enterprise reporting systems that support both operational and strategic decision making.
  • A proactive strategic partner who excels at navigating ambiguity and building deep, customer-centric relationships across the organization.
  • A self-directed mindset, capable of managing a complex portfolio of concurrent projects with a high degree of autonomy
  • Proven expertise in using Python to perform complex data wrangling and building scalable ETL pipelines that ingest data from APIs
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional strategic project delivery across multiple data teams and business stakeholders
  • Experience supporting live-service gaming analytics or multi-title portfolios is a strong plus

Bonus Points

  • Experience working across multiple business units with varying data maturity levels.
  • Experience designing BI in evolving or complex data ecosystems with multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Passion for games and a player-focused mindset.

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
