Fraud Analyst

As a Fraud Analyst, you will explore the world of online payment fraud, understanding how fraudsters work and finding ways to stop them. You'll act as a detective, strategist, and team player, working with various departments to protect our customers from fraud. Your insights will be fueling the development of our fraud Machine Learning products.

What you’ll do

Collaborate with data teams as well as product managers, risk officers and operations teams to find new ways to identify and stop fraud
Balance small details and the big picture view to understand the global fraud landscape and how fraud impacts our business, and that of our merchants
Partner with external stakeholders and merchants to understand ways we can improve our product and stay on top of industry trends
Identify areas for operational improvement and drive initiatives to increase efficiency and effectiveness within our fraud products and ways of working

Who you are

You have at least 4 years of relevant working experience in a fraud or data analyst focused role
You have excellent analytical and modeling skills, with proficiency in tools such as SQL, Python, and BI tools like Looker
You have domain knowledge in fraud prevention, transaction lifecycles, and are able to define and challenge industry best practices
Strong spoken and written communication skills
