RVP, Enterprise Sales
Aerospike is looking for a Regional Vice President, Enterprise Sales to join our Sales leadership team. Reporting to the CRO, you will be responsible for Enterprise Sales in the Americas and be responsible for recruiting, training, and leading a team of high caliber enterprise account executives (& eventually leaders).


Key Responsibilities

  • Recruit and develop a world-class team of high-caliber enterprise account executives. This team should include individuals with high cognitive ability, empathy, character, work ethic, grit and coachability
  • Develop an in-depth understanding on Aerospike’s products in order to be able to provide guidance and mentoring on selling, navigating complex negotiations, helping eliminate technical barriers and managing commercial escalations.
  • Ensure effective and consistent pipeline generation & accurate forecasting with accountability around clearly defined leading indicators to drive a predictable & scalable regional business
  • Implement, enable, and execute our value-based selling approach consistently across a team of high caliber, Enterprise account executives
  • Collaborate and partner closely with cross-functional teams. Build & foster strong internal partnerships with engineering, customer success, alliances, pre-sales and account development

Must Haves:

  • 3+ years of enterprise selling experience and 5+ years of leadership experience at a fast-paced, high growth B2B software company specializing in selling to developer/engineering buying personas
  • Significant experience and proven results selling into and navigating the complexities of an Enterprise environment across multiple industries
  • Experience negotiating large 6- 7 figure deals with extremely complex terms and conditions
  • Experience building geographically diverse Enterprise sales teams & a proven record of recruiting, hiring, and training top sales talent
  • Proven track record of over-achieving quota in both an IC and leadership capacity
  • Demonstrated ability to articulate the business value of complex enterprise technology
  • Experience evangelizing to the benefits of Force Management, MEDDPICC and comparable sales qualification frameworks.
  • Passionate about building, teaching, investing in, and evolving high caliber sales teams

 

Nice to Haves

  • Database experience (eg Aerospike, Yugabyte, Cockroach, MongoDB, Cassandra, HBase, Couchbase, etc)
  • Ability to travel approximately 25-30% of the time.
  • Experience scaling & leading international GTM teams.
