
Logistics Manager
Work Arrangement
This is a remote position with frequent travel.
Job Overview
This position supports a ground and flight test program, managing product delivery and supply chain processes to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of goods and government propoerty/equipment through the supply chain out to operating locations worldwide. It involves coordination, communication, problem-solving, and continuous improvement efforts to optimize the logistics process and meet customer and goals of the Government Property Management Program.
Essential Functions
- Responsible for the coordination, management, and execution of the Packaging, Handling, Storage, and Transportation (PHS&T) of government property/equipment and commercial material.
- Support the Government Property Manager with inventory, reporting, and procurement efforts.
- Ensuring effective and safe use of warehouse equipment and the safety of staff.
- Safeguarding documentation and keeping accurate records of warehouse activities.
- Maintaining awareness and knowledge of the condition and location of fleet vehicles.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Competencies
- Strong knowledge of inventory processes, controls, and related software, databases, and systems.
- Valid US driver’s license.
- Demonstrated sound judgment and effective relationship-management abilities.

Education / Certifications
- Bachelor's degree required. Additional experience may substitute for degree.
Experience
- Prior experience with warehouse management procedures preferred.
- Prior experience operating a forklift effectively preferred.
