THE ROLE
AG1 is hiring a Manager, Health & Wellness Sales to drive brand partnerships with healthcare practitioners, sports teams, hospitality groups, universities, spas, sports clubs, and other small businesses. In this role, you will be responsible for developing a sales pipeline and closing deals with small businesses that will be wholesaling AG1. You will manage and grow relationships with key client accounts to drive sales and revenue growth.
Reporting to the Director, Brand & Commercial Partnerships, this role will manage a high volume of partner accounts and requires a deep understanding of partner needs. The successful candidate is a self-starter, relationship builder, and problem solver skilled at providing tailored solutions that drive partner engagement and consistently ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Drive Sales Growth: Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand AG1's customer base among healthcare practitioners, sports teams, hospitality groups, universities, spas, sports clubs, and other small businesses. Deliver monthly volume and distribution goals and drive enthusiasm for AG1 in the market.
- Develop Sales Pipeline: Identify and generate new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, including outreach, email campaigns, and networking.
- Close Deals: Lead negotiations and close deals with small businesses to establish wholesale partnerships, ensuring terms align with AG1’s goals.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring a high level of partner satisfaction and retention. Regularly engage with partners to review performance, address issues, and identify opportunities for revenue generation.
- Collaborate with Internal Teams: Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer service teams to ensure the successful implementation of sales strategies and seamless customer experience. Partner with cross-functional internal teams on a seasonal basis in go-to-market planning and execution.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and customer needs, using insights to refine sales strategies and tactics.
- Reporting and Forecasting: Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and presentations for senior management, providing actionable insights and recommendations. Use data and insights to drive strategic decisions and optimize account management.
- Event Participation: Represent AG1 at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote products and network with potential clients.
- Adapt and Innovate: Stay updated with industry trends and best practices, continuously seeking ways to improve sales processes and outcomes.
- Drive Brand Enthusiasm: Promote AG1's values and mission, driving enthusiasm and loyalty within the market.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 5+ years of experience in high volume B2B sales in CPG, Pharma, Healthcare, Technology, or Wellness industries.
- 2+ years of experience in sales with demonstrated ability to reach and surpass targets
- Demonstrated experience generating revenue via outbound prospecting (i.e. email and phone)
- Proficiency with Salesforce (CRM); experience with Shopify B2B and Salesloft is a plus
- Experience selling to doctors and health care practitioners is a plus
- Experience serving as a trusted advisor for clients and a passion for supporting client needs with urgency and creativity
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organization, project management and time management skills, and ability to take initiative
- Excellent presentation, discovery, and communication skills
- Accurate forecasting of future seasonal revenue
- A mindset focused on seizing opportunities and moving with urgency

AG1 is dedicated to providing equitable and competitive compensation & benefits packages. For this particular role, the base salary range is $87,500.00 - $111,500.00 and will ultimately be decided at the offer stage, based on an individual candidate’s level of skills and experience aligned with the needs of this role. Base salary is one component of total compensation for this position. We provide a competitive mix of base salary, performance bonus, and stock option allocation for eligible roles.
