THE ROLE

AG1 is looking for an experienced and highly-strategic Director, Supply Chain Finance (Product Development & Execution) to join our growing global Finance team. This role will play a pivotal role in leading the financial viability, budgeting, and financial management of our innovation pipeline. Additionally the role will have overall responsibility for the budget, forecast, and financial planning of the execution (Manufacturing, Quality, and Logistics) side of the supply chain organization. You will implement strategies to develop saving initiatives, own KPI forecast and reporting, and partner with Supply Chain Leadership to meet the long term financial goals of the organization). 


You will be responsible for managing a team of two finance professionals, who oversee key parts of the supply chain (Manufacturing, Quality, Logistics) and work with a cross functional team to deliver timely monthly financials.

 

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Product Development

  • Implement and oversee sandbox financial viability of product development
  • Develop full COGS and volume analysis of potential innovations
  • Partner with Procurement to ensure supplier and market viability on all ingredients associated with development
  • Bring a supply chain mindset and perspective to all innovation discussions to ensure scalability 
  • Create full P&L models to show impact to total business for COGS, Cash Flow, and EBITDA upon launch/growth of new products
  • Guide cross functional teams and ensure strong business partner processes are set up to keep all relevant functions informed, all leaders engaged, aware and involved.

Supply Chain Finance

  • Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting process for the supply chain execution team including manufacturing and fulfillment and distribution 
  • Develop financial models and analysis to support strategic initiatives and business decision making including COGS, taxes, facilities, warehousing, import freight and domestic freight, and more
  • Analyze historical spend data to inform future forecasts, and partner with the functional teams within Supply Chain to improve assumptions
  • Leverage financial analysis to identify and recommend solutions to improve operational financial performance, such as reducing costs and streamlining processes
  • Track and monitor budgets and variance analysis for supply chain cost centers.
  • Implement monthly business reviews with key external partners
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop meaningful dashboards to track performance against goals
  • Manage cash flow forecasting and regulatory compliance efforts
  • Manage, Develop and Coach a team of supply chain finance professionals

 

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis with a focus on supply chain operations
  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain finance
  • Experience working in a high-growth, fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated ability to develop financial models, perform complex analysis, and communicate findings and recommendations to non-financial stakeholders
  • Strong experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
  • Experience with NetSuite preferred
  • Proficiency in Tableau and SQL preferred
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a remote work environment
  • The ability to interact with and influence people at all levels of an organization
  • Strong leader who will hire and develop talent while maintaining a deep interest in and commitment to mentoring direct reports and driving career development across the team

AG1 is dedicated to providing equitable and competitive compensation & benefits packages. For this particular role, the base salary range is $140,000 - $175,000 and will ultimately be decided at the offer stage, based on an individual candidate’s level of skills and experience aligned with the needs of this role. Base salary is one component of total compensation for this position. We provide a competitive mix of base salary, performance bonus, and stock option allocation for eligible roles.
