THE ROLE

AG1 is seeking a Director, Loyalty who will champion this mission — a leader dedicated to helping customers make AG1 an enduring part of their daily routine. This individual will craft innovative strategies to deepen customer engagement, retention and lifetime value. Their guiding objective will be to cultivate lasting customer relationships and ensure AG1 becomes a lifelong habit.

Reporting to the VP, Retention & Member Experience, the ideal candidate is both analytically driven and creatively inspired. They think from first principles, embrace a test-and-learn approach to refine the customer experience, and thrive in performance-driven environments. They balance being a strategic leader with rolling up their sleeves to execute, seamlessly transitioning between player and coach.  This role requires strong experience in customer relationship management, loyalty program management, and data-driven marketing strategies.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Evolve our loyalty testing into a comprehensive scalable loyalty program that aligns with business objectives and enhances customer experience.
  • Manage the end-to-end operation of the loyalty program, including retention, engagement, and rewards optimization.
  • Analyze customer data and program performance to drive continuous improvement and identify opportunities for growth. Shape recommendations for program enhancements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Member Experience, Marketing, Data Science & Analytics, and Engineering, to integrate loyalty initiatives across all customer touchpoints.
  • Collaborate closely with Brand, Partnerships and Acquisition teams to amplify the impact and marketability of loyalty efforts.
  • Leverage insights and trends to develop innovative loyalty initiatives that increase customer lifetime value.
  • Monitor competitive loyalty programs and industry trends to ensure best-in-class offerings.
    Develop and manage budgets, forecasting, and reporting on loyalty program performance.
    Lead a team of loyalty program managers and specialists, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance management.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • 10+ years of experience driving scalable loyalty and retention programs required.
  • Strong understanding of customer data, analytics, and segmentation strategies.
  • Passion for customer engagement and data-driven decision-making.
  • Skilled in shaping consumer behavior through thoughtful, loyalty-driven interventions.
  • Proven experience in designing and executing successful loyalty programs.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to translate complex ideas into clear, visually engaging designs that drive business results.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate program decisions to stakeholders effectively.
  • A passion for creative problem-solving and a commitment to staying ahead of industry trends.

AG1 is dedicated to providing equitable and competitive compensation & benefits packages. For this particular role, the base salary range is $145,000.00 - $175,000.00 and will ultimately be decided at the offer stage, based on an individual candidate’s level of skills and experience aligned with the needs of this role. Base salary is one component of total compensation for this position. We provide a competitive mix of base salary, performance bonus, and stock option allocation for eligible roles.
