Test Site Logistics & Planning Coordinator

AGILE is headquartered in Durango, CO with a facility in Mount Pleasant, PA and growing presence in Tulsa, OK.
Agile Space Industries is seeking a Test Site Logistics & Planning Coordinator to support propulsion testing operations at our test facilities onsite in Durango, Colorado. In this role, you will work directly with the Director of Test Operations, Test Engineers, and Program Managers to coordinate staffing, testing campaigns, and facility scheduling. You will also manage logistics related to purchasing, vendor coordination, and shipping/receiving in support of hypergolic rocket engine testing.
This is a key role in ensuring that test operations run smoothly, efficiently, and safely, balancing program needs with site capabilities.
Preferred Skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to prioritize competing needs across multiple test campaigns.
- Experience with scheduling tools, ERP/MRP systems, or other logistics/planning software.
- Background in logistics, test operations, or manufacturing planning preferred.
- Understanding of staffing schedules, material lead times, and how they interact with testing campaigns.
- Experience in vendor management, purchasing, and coordinating shipping/receiving of sensitive equipment.
- Comfort working in a high-cadence, dynamic test environment with shifting priorities.
- Strong communication skills — able to coordinate across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and commitment to safety and compliance in hazardous operations environments.
- Ability to adapt to change and embrace new assignments as the site expands.
- Familiarity with aerospace, defense, or chemical handling environments a plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain staffing schedules for test personnel to ensure adequate coverage across test stands.
- Coordinate test campaign planning, including allocation of test stands, support resources, and alignment with program timelines.
- Assist in facility scheduling to optimize test throughput and minimize conflicts between programs.
- Support purchasing and vendor management, ensuring timely delivery of materials and services to support testing.
- Manage shipping and receiving of test hardware, propellants, and support equipment in compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
- Track consumables usage (e.g., nitrogen, diesel, propellants) and coordinate replenishment with vendors.
- Assist with documentation related to scheduling, purchasing, and logistics.
- Provide feedback on vendor performance, logistical bottlenecks, and process improvements.
- Participate in internal audits and support compliance with safety and quality management systems.
- Support test operations leadership in long-term planning for facility expansions and capability growth.
Minimum Qualifications
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and basic scheduling/logistics software.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in team environments.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Professional and reliable, with consistent attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to handle confidential company information within regulatory guidelines.
- Willingness to work occasional overtime to support critical testing milestones.
- Reliable on-site presence in Durango, CO (with partial remote work flexibility as approved).
Physical Demands:

- May need to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl in support of shipping/receiving activities.
- Must be able to lift or carry up to 20 lbs regularly.
- Frequent hand, arm, and finger motions; vision and hearing abilities required for communication and equipment handling.
Employment Type: Exempt
The expected salary range for this role is $58,800-$81,200 annually. Final compensation will be based on factors such as experience, skills, and internal equity, and is typically made within the midrange $70,000, rather than the upper end.
Work Schedule: Full Time
Location: Onsite at Durango Airport location with the option for occasional remote work when prearranged and approved
