Singapore HQ

Want to be a part of Asia Pacific & Middle East's (APME) largest, most innovative, and rapidly growing data centre company?

AirTrunk is a technology company with a powerful purpose - to scale and sustain the relentless growth of the region’s digital future. We do this by continuously redefining and delivering hyperscale data centres that meet the needs of our customers - the world’s most transformational companies. And we’re doing so sustainably, for today and tomorrow.

Having opened Australia’s first and largest hyperscale data centres in 2017, we set our eyes on rapid expansion and now operate a platform of hyperscale data centres across the APME region. With backing from our investors, including Blackstone, this is just the beginning…

Come join the A-Team at AirTrunk, where the cloud meets the ground.

A Snapshot

As Data Analyst based in our HQ in Singapore, you will report to the Data Strategy Manager in the Customer Solutions Team and work closely with various teams and leadership across the Asia Pacific region, making your mark in a number of ways:

The Data Strategy team operates as a unified "Intelligence Loop." The pillars answer critical questions:

  • Data Governance: "Is our data accurate and reliable?" (The Foundation)
  • Market Intelligence: "Where is the demand going next?" (The Opportunity) ← Your Primary Focus
  • Policy & Infrastructure: "What are the bottlenecks to building there?" (The Risk)

As the Data Analyst supporting Market Intelligence, your rigorous data work directly enables the team to answer the second question with conviction. Your cleaned datasets feed into competitor tracking, capacity analysis, and strategic supply modelling.

Your Day to Day

  • Data Collation & Hygiene: Own the end-to-end lifecycle of site, competitor, and market data. Identify data gaps, consolidate multiple sources, and rigorously clean datasets to ensure they meet AirTrunk's 'Source of Truth' standards.
  • Competitive Intelligence Support: Collate and structure data on competitor footprints, expansion patterns, and capacity utilization.
  • Market & Site Data Synthesis: Simplify complex qualitative and quantitative datasets into structured formats and visual dashboards that provide a cohesive view of market trends, customer movement, and emerging opportunities.
  • AI-Driven Data Solutions: Actively explore and implement AI-powered workflows (using Copilot, ChatGPT Enterprise, etc.) to automate data ingestion, streamline cleaning processes, and optimize how we store and retrieve proprietary information. Document and share best practices with the team.
  • Process Automation: Use Python and GIS scripting to automate repetitive data tasks—freeing the team to focus on strategic analysis rather than manual data manipulation.
  • Cross-Functional Enablement: Work with internal teams to ensure data quality standards are met.
  • Risk & Environmental Data: Collate and analyze environmental risk data (seismic activity, water scarcity, climate factors) to provide a 'reality check' on market viability and long-term sustainability.

Requirements

  • Degree or Diploma in Geography, Data Analysis, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or relevant field
  • 1–3 years of experience in data analytics, consulting, business intelligence, or real estate/infrastructure. Data centre or hyperscale industry experience is a plus.
  • Data Management Obsession: Proven ability in data collation, cleaning, and validation. You understand data quality is non-negotiable for strategic decision-making.
  • AI & Productivity Tools: High comfort level with AI tools (Copilot, ChatGPT Enterprise, etc.). Proactive mindset toward using AI to improve data efficiency and unlock insights from existing datasets.
  • Excel & Visualization: Proficiency in Excel for data manipulation and PowerBI (or similar) for creating dashboards that tell a clear story
  • Programming: Working knowledge of at least one coding language (Python preferred) for data automation.
  • PowerPoint: Strong presentation skills to communicate data findings
  • Exposure to Geospatial Expertise can be helpful: Working knowledge of ArcGIS Pro or similar GIS platforms; comfort handling shapefiles, KMZs, and spatial data analysis
  • Experience with SQL databases or data warehousing
  • Familiarity with APIs or web scraping for data collection
  • Background in market research, competitive intelligence, or business development
  • Experience with platforms like Tableau, PowerBI, or similar advanced analytics tools
