
Engineering Project Manager

As an Engineering Project Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Plan and execute the verification and validation test plan according to the defined project deliverables
- Identify resources, secure budget, and coordinate the efforts of team members to deliver results according to plan
- Manage and secure verification and validation activities of features and vehicle regulations
- Deliver project requirements with quality while maintaining cost and fulfilling vehicle feature targets
- Deliver input to project documentation (e.g., requirement specification, project description, PAP/PDP, risk register, lessons learned)
- Identify necessary resources and related costs such as simulation, rig test & test trucks to execute the V&V plan
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Master’s preferred)
- 8+ years of project management experience (automotive industry preferred).
- Quality tool skills (Risk analysis, FMEA, Project Assurance quality).
- Familiarity with North American automotive safety regulations (FMVSS/CMVSS).
- Experience with DVP and Agile methodology.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive mindset.
- Strong interest in developing relationships with stakeholders.
- Ideal to have a PMP Certification or other relevant project management certifications
Salary Range: $75,000-$80,000
The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience
