Job Summary:
Our customer seeks highly motivated and technically skilled individuals and experience in PM to join our team supporting the landscape of application for our trading floor. This engineer will play a critical role in integrating advanced mechanical systems, ensuring reliability, safety, and efficiency in the production of next-generation battery and fuel cell technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and lead project governance (operational committees for regular follow up and steering committees for top management reporting and strategic decisions)
- Follow up the implementation of the project with IT teams after budget allocation and business prioritization
- Define and follow SLA, KPIs and KRIs with different actors
- Maintain strong interaction and communication with all teams involved in order to remain aligned with the global framework, optimize processes and represent AMER interest in global projects and developments
Project & Delivery Methodologies
- Project Management Frameworks: Agile (Scrum/Kanban), Waterfall, or hybrid approaches.
- Tools: Jira, Confluence, MS Project, Trello, or equivalent.
- Release Planning: Coordinating with dev, QA, and operations for controlled releases.
- Change Management: ITIL change control processes in production-critical environments.
Technical Communication Skills
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical deliverables and vice versa.
- Document functional specifications, technical integration plans, and deployment checklists.
- Communicate effectively with traders, developers, quants, and infrastructure teams.
Risk & Quality Management
- Identify technology and operational risks in projects affecting front-to-back trade flow.
- Build contingency and rollback plans for high-impact changes.
- Conduct UAT planning and coordination for system upgrades or migrations.
- Ensure performance and load testing is included for latency-sensitive systems.
Interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical skills follow up capability and problem-solving ability
- Pragmatic, curious, dynamic, detail oriented and fast learning capacity so as to be able to and work in high-pressure environment and flexible enough to adapt to a changing environment
- Strong teamwork that should not impede autonomy on assigned topics
- Client focused, able to identify and anticipate client requirements
- Good written and verbal communication skills adapted to recipients (local IT vs global IT vs Business)
