As Manufacturing Process Engineer you will be responsible for;

Evaluating, documenting, and ensuring process and station readiness for industrialization activities. This role involves performing shopfloor assessments, analyzing process flows, verifying compliance with Standard Time Values (STV), and delivering structured readiness reports. The analyst drives action follow-up, deviation analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives to secure operational performance at the target production rate.
- Review inputs from existing protocols and related documentation.
- Analyze detailed process flows by operations/elements, including STV and PFMEA rankings.
- Verify content and completeness of Process & Station Readiness plans.
- Confirm availability of observation templates, team resources, and support functions.
- Ensure PERT and Line Balancing data are validated against target cycle times.
- Prepare observation planning covering materials, operators, and support functions.
Process Execution
- Conduct on-site shopfloor observations, recording findings systematically.
- Write reports detailing observations, evaluations, and deviations.
- Summarize and prioritize actions, maintaining and managing action lists.
- Evaluate and update Process & Station Readiness plans in alignment with requirements.
- Provide Pareto analysis of deviations, red/white spaces, and defects.
- Translate Non-Value-Added (NVA) activities into measurable financial impact at serial production rate.
Outputs & Deliverables
- Deliver the different reports including:
- VA & NVA time analysis for non-linked operations, cost impacts, etc,
- Operation feasibility within STV or target cycle time
- Workload distribution per station/work package
- Paretos for findings/improvements
- Quantified Right-First-Time (RFT) performance
- Deviations to line balancing (station/area level)
- Identification of VA/NVA with potential gains
- Improvement proposals with impact assessment
- Maintain checklists (AOS bricks) and associated action lists.
- Maintain and deliver updated Process & Station Readiness checklists.
Qualifications;
- Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in process analysis, line balancing, and industrial readiness (ideally in aerospace or automotive manufacturing).
- Strong knowledge of PFMEA, lean manufacturing principles, and shopfloor operations.
- Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and visualization (Excel, Google Sheets, or BI tools).
- Ability to create structured reports and communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
Salary Range: $70-75k
