
Industrial Engineer – Assembly

Summary:
The Industrial Engineer – Assembly is responsible for optimizing assembly line performance through process analysis, labor management, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role focuses on increasing efficiency, reducing waste, and supporting product launches truck Assembly Plant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct time studies, line balancing, and workstation design to improve assembly flow.
- Analyze and manage direct and indirect labor to meet production targets.
- Support process changes, model launches, and engineering updates.
- Apply lean manufacturing and ergonomic principles to eliminate waste and enhance safety.
- Develop and maintain standard work instructions and process documentation.
- Collaborate with production, maintenance, and quality teams to solve process issues.
- Track key metrics such as cycle time, downtime, and throughput, and drive corrective actions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or related field.
- 3-5yrs of industry experience needed.
- Proficiency in time study methods (MODAPTS preferred).
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred:
- Prior Stellantis experience is a plus.
