Interface with vehicle and manufacturing teams with respect to discovered engine-related issues. Lead or engage in root cause determination of engine and/or propulsion system issues and support through closure. Lead or engage in engine validation plan execution. Ensure adequate representation at issue resolution meetings, escalate unresolved issues to senior management and lead/challenge the team to deliver a benchmark design. Process and analyze dyno, vehicle and supplier/internal plant manufacturing processing data to establish trends and identify issues. Initiate contact and support meetings with other business units. Present technical findings concisely for all topics with recommended of next steps identified. Support value optimization and quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements: Travel and/or Relocation to various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. required. The purpose of travel and/or relocation would be to work with clients on projects. The frequency of travel and/or relocation will be determined by the needs of clients.  Apply knowledge of the following: CANape, IBM DOORs, Technical Design Reviews. Position located in Troy, Michigan.
