About the role: 

We are seeking a data-driven and business-savvy analyst to support our sales and customer success teams with actionable insights and operational integrity. This role will be instrumental in tracking, forecasting, and optimizing performance across multiple products and advertising channels, while also helping improve data quality, customer reporting, and strategic decision-making.

 A day in the life of our Octopart Application Engineer:

Sales Enablement & Performance Analysis

  • Build and maintain dashboards to track performance against sales targets, pipeline health, and sales team metrics.
  • Support weekly/monthly pipeline reviews and executive reporting
  • Forecast pipeline health, average deal size, win/loss trends, churn, and overall sales performance.
  • Analyze performance across products and customer segments to inform sales strategies, product roadmap, and leadership decisions.
  • Maintain commission data and performance-to-target reporting.

Marketing Analytics & Attribution

  • Track how Advertising product performance impacts revenue performance, including:
  • Assembling data from various internal and external sources, such as Looker, Google Ad Manager, Marketo.
    Analyzing impressions, CTR, open rates and expanding on product mix and regional breakdown.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards to track product-level marketing performance over time.
  • Use tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, and site metrics platforms to analyze engagement and trends.
  • Review and enhance tracking for marketing touchpoints, campaigns, and attribution accuracy.

Customer Insights

  • Analyze account behavior and product adoption to refine targeting strategies.
  • Generate detailed revenue insight reporting for the Sales organization.
  • Develop a customer-facing version in Sales customer conversations.
  • Support Sales in custom deal modeling.
  • Create models for click forecasting, including seasonality and holiday adjustments by region.
  • Develop monitoring dashboards to identify opportunities and risk to revenue based on site performance.

Who We’re Looking For:

  • 3+ years of experience in revenue analytics, marketing analytics, business intelligence, or a similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in data tools: Google Analytics, Looker/Tableau, Excel/Sheets, SEMrush, and SQL (preferred).
  • Familiarity with advertising performance metrics (impressions, CTR, CPC, ROAS, etc.).
  • Experience with Salesforce, Google Ad Manager, Marketo or other ad ops platforms a plus.
  • Proven ability to build dashboards and automate reporting across complex datasets.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a cross-functional mindset.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical curiosity, and a knack for spotting trends and outliers.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in a B2B SaaS or ad-tech environment.
  • Understanding of sales pipeline forecasting models.

The salary range for this role is $135,000 - $170,000 OTE. Actual compensation packages within this range are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate and role requirements, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific location.

🏢 Our hybrid schedule 

Our global hybrid model allows employees to work remotely two days per week. Our designated In-Office Days are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. This is when we come together in-person as a team to collaborate, learn from one another, and accelerate innovation. Some exceptions apply.
