Join the IT Corporate Data Analytics Team, a fast-moving, high-impact team of problem solvers, builders, and connectors driving transformation across Anaplan’s global IT organization. From Infrastructure to Enterprise Apps, we help IT leaders cut through complexity with data-driven clarity — and we do it fast. This is not a wait-and-see environment. We operate at a rapid pace, prioritizing action, iteration, and progress over perfection. If you thrive in the blur of change and love translating chaos into clarity, this is your kind of team.

We’re looking for a motivated early-career Business Analyst who is equal parts curious and action-oriented. In this role, you won’t just document processes — you’ll chase down ambiguity, ask sharp questions, and help leaders across IT move faster with clearer insights.
You’ll collaborate with global stakeholders across IT Engineering, Infrastructure, Enterprise Applications (e.g., ServiceNow, Workday), Customer Experience, and GTM/Revenue Apps (e.g., Salesforce) to uncover pain points, define what success looks like, and help build scalable solutions. Experience with data tools is a plus, but this role is first and foremost about understanding business problems and driving clarity at speed.

Your Impact

  • Partner with IT stakeholders to understand business objectives, operational pain points, and reporting needs — quickly and proactively.
  • Engage stakeholders to uncover opportunity areas, clarify pain points, define use cases, and identify improvement levers and decision factors. Translate these into well-scoped problems and desired outcomes that inform solution design and prioritization.
  • Document current-state processes using tools like Lucidchart or Miro and support development of future-state recommendations.
  • Help define operational KPIs and develop tracking mechanisms for IT functions including asset management, system health, and service quality.
  • Support project coordination and delivery of fast-paced IT initiatives across global teams; track progress and push forward momentum.
  • Assist in documenting business definitions, data inputs, and report usage to drive consistency and self-service.

Your Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of experience in a business analystoperations, or IT support role (internships or project-based experience welcome).
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills, with an ability to break down complex workflows into understandable components.
  • Effective communicator who can build relationships across teams and document stakeholder needs with clarity and precision.
  • Experience using documentation or visualization tools (Lucidchart, Miro, PowerPoint, Confluence, etc.).
  • Energized by rapid change and fast turnarounds, able to operate with a sense of urgency and independence in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be based near one of our office hubs for hybrid work schedule, ideally in Minneapolis or Northern Virginia.

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with data concepts (metrics, KPIs, tables) and exposure to analytics tools like SQL, Tableau, Excel, or similar.
  • Experience working with IT service platforms (e.g., ServiceNow), HR/Finance apps (Workday), or CRM tools (Salesforce).
  • Interest in learning more about data analytics, process automation, or IT system integrations as a career path.

This isn’t your average analyst role. You’ll gain hands-on exposure to executive-level priorities, global IT operations, and the systems that power a high-growth SaaS company. You’ll be chasing clarity in the middle of the storm, helping us move fast without breaking things, and building the operational foundations that allow IT to scale with confidence. In addition to all of this, you'll be working closely with the AI governance and operational teams as part of our charter to empower the corporate functions through data and IT.

Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
