We are seeking an experienced Data & Analytics Systems Analyst to lead the end-to-end service delivery from our enterprise-wide Data & Analytics Platform. In this pivotal role, you will ensure that our customers, partners, and employees receive high-quality, reliable, and self-service data solutions that meet their business needs.
The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of the entire data service lifecycle, from initial data integration across our data lake and warehouse to final data delivery and governance. While this is not a dedicated development role, you will guide the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and should be capable of performing code changes when necessary. Your primary focus will be on optimizing processes, enhancing service delivery, and aligning the data services with our strategic business objectives.
Your Impact
- End-to-End Service Delivery: Assume ownership of the complete service lifecycle, ensuring the data and analytics services provided to business users are reliable, high-quality, and meet their needs. This includes overseeing all contributing factors from data integration to final reporting and analysis.
- Lifecycle Management: Guide the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) for the analytics team, from architecture and development to deployment and support, ensuring all activities align with stakeholder needs and service level agreements.
- Data Platform Management: Design, implement, and manage our data platforms, including data lakes and data warehouses, and their associated integration pipelines, utilizing modern ETL tools.
- Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and hands-on support for data wrangling, query authoring (SQL and NoSQL), and utilizing Web APIs (RESTful, SOAP) to ensure seamless service integration.
- Governance & Quality: Establish and enforce data governance best practices—including data observability, cataloging, lineage, and quality assurance—to maintain the integrity and trustworthiness of the data services.
- Documentation & Reporting: Develop and maintain comprehensive business, functional, and technical documentation. Create unit/functional test cases, test scripts, and runbooks to ensure service reliability.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work effectively with a cross-functional team of architects, data engineers, BI engineers, and business analysts to analyze requirements, troubleshoot major issues, and deliver effective solutions.
- Process Improvement: Manage incidents using systems like Jira or ServiceNow, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and create change management packages to continuously improve service performance and stability.
Your Qualifications :
- 5+ years of experience in system/data integration, or the development and implementation of enterprise/cloud software.
- Strong experience designing and building solutions for data lakes and data warehouses, with required proficiency in Informatica Cloud for ETL pipelines.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Python for data processing and automation.
- Expertise in data wrangling and query authoring in both SQL and NoSQL environments for structured and unstructured data.
- Hands-on experience with cloud computing environments, specifically Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Proven experience with both RESTful and SOAP Web APIs.
- Solid understanding of Agile software development methodologies.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Nice To Have
- Experience with data visualization and reporting tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Familiarity with Data Governance tools and processes (Data Observability, Quality, Cataloging, Lineage).
- Previous experience with the Anaplan platform is a significant advantage.
- Experience with enterprise risk management processes.
Base Salary Range:
$119,000 - $161,000 USD
