- Serve as the bridge between Finance and IT — translating accounting, FP&A, and compliance needs into system functionality.
- Leverage accounting knowledge (e.g., revenue recognition, multi-entity consolidation, tax, and internal controls) to improve configuration and processes.
- Validate system output against financial requirements, including GAAP/IFRS compliance.
- Operational & Administrative Leadership
- Ensure accurate, timely, and secure data flow between financial systems (e.g., NetSuite, Coupa, Vertex, PBCS, Blackline, Workiva).
- Oversee user access controls, security configurations, and audit logs to meet SOX and other compliance requirements.
- Direct and mentor the Finance Systems team (administrators, developer, etc.).
- Support & Incident Management
- Oversee Level 1–3 support process for finance systems, ensuring business continuity and high user satisfaction.
- Escalate and manage vendor relationships for support, enhancement, and issue resolution.
- Compliance & Controls
- Partner with internal audit, external auditors, and compliance teams to maintain SOX controls, periodic access reviews, and reconciliation processes.

- Strong experience with NetSuite (multi-subsidiary) or equivalent and one or more of: PBCS, HFM, Blackline, Workiva, Coupa, Vertex, Avalara.
- Proven track record leading cross-functional finance systems projects from requirements through implementation.
