About the Opportunity:

AnthroMed Education is looking for a dedicated School Social Worker to join our team in Warren, MI. This is a full-time position supporting one elementary school for the 2026-2027 school year. Caseload and Environment:

• Targeted Caseload: General and Special Education.
• Focus: Supporting students across a variety of needs including students in a self-contained classroom.
• Dedicated Space: You will have a private, dedicated office space to conduct sessions and meetings.

 

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and indirect social work services to students in need of emotional, behavioral, and social support.
• Conduct IEP evaluations and contribute to the development of meaningful student goals.
• Facilitate small group and individual sessions.
• Lead and support the implementation of BIPS and FBAs.
• Participate in IEP and 504 Plan meetings to advocate for student needs.
• Support students and families in accessing community resources.

 

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
• Michigan School Social Work Certification (Required)
• Experience working with school-aged children is preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

 

Compensation & Benefits:

Salary: $57,500 - $75,000 salary, based on experience and qualifications (paid weekly)
