ESTIMATED PAY RANGE
$73,000 - 80,000, DOE

JOB SUMMARY
As a Tooling Engineering in Manitowoc, WI, you may: design, detail, and draft precision tooling components, with emphasis on progressive dies for high-volume manufacturing; utilize SolidWorks to create accurate, manufacturable tooling designs; apply mechanical principles to ensure tooling functionality, durability, and performance; collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and refine tooling systems; support production processes by optimizing die performance and ensuring alignment with operational requirements; contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to tooling applications and manufacturing efficiency, and work collaboratively with suppliers and other Applied partners. 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in tooling design, with emphasis on progressive dies
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Manufacturing Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
    • OR
  • Associate's Degree in an Engineering Discipline with additional experience
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks for tooling design and drafting
  • Strong understanding of mechanical principles, materials, and tolerances
  • Experience collaborating with production and engineering teams in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to analyze and interpret technical data to support design decisions and process improvements
