is a cutting-edge ad exchange platform seeking a highly experienced and strategic Director of Marketing to lead our marketing initiatives and drive brand growth. This is a pivotal role that will shape the company’s marketing direction while working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve ambitious business goals.

Role Overview:
The Director of Marketing
will take full ownership of Bidmachine’s marketing strategy, with a focus on email and content marketing, marketing copy, and brand messaging. This role is ideal for a dynamic professional with a proven track record of delivering impactful marketing campaigns, driving engagement, and supporting sales enablement efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Email & Content Marketing:
    • Develop and execute comprehensive email marketing strategies that align with business objectives.
    • Create and manage a content calendar to drive engagement and brand authority.
    • Ensure all email campaigns follow best practices, including A/B testing, segmentation, and performance optimization.
  • Messaging, Brand Positioning, and Segmentation:
    • Define and refine Bidmachine’s brand positioning and messaging to resonate with target audiences.
    • Conduct market research and customer segmentation to inform strategic initiatives.
    • Develop compelling and consistent marketing copy for all campaigns and platforms.
  • Sales Enablement:
    • Collaborate with the sales team to create impactful messaging for client outreach.
    • Develop and maintain high-quality marketing collateral to support sales efforts.
    • Assist with tailored copy and assets for client communications.
  • Social Media Management:
    • Manage the company’s LinkedIn strategy and content, ensuring consistent and engaging messaging.
  • SEO and Website Optimization:
    • Oversee SEO initiatives & manage SEO resources, ensuring Bidmachine’s website ranks highly for key search terms.
  • Cold Email Campaigns:
    • Strategize and oversee cold email marketing efforts to generate qualified leads.
    • Ensure compliance with email marketing regulations and best practices.
  • Event & Conference Support:
    • Collaborate with event teams to create and manage collateral for conferences and industry events.
  • Team Support and Resource Management:
    • Leverage internal and external resources to scale marketing efforts effectively.
    • Manage agencies, freelancers, or contractors for specialized marketing tasks.

Key Qualifications:

  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 5-7 years of marketing experience, with a focus on digital marketing, content creation, and brand strategy.
    • Proven expertise in email marketing and content marketing, with hands-on experience using HubSpot.
    • Strong understanding of SEO principles and tools.
  • Skills:
    • Exceptional copywriting and communication skills.
    • Deep knowledge of email marketing best practices, segmentation, and A/B testing.
    • Proficiency in creating and managing content calendars.
    • Strategic thinker with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Technical Knowledge:
    • Advanced proficiency in HubSpot.
    • Familiarity with LinkedIn marketing strategies and tools.
  • Attributes:
    • Creative, resourceful, and results-oriented.
    • Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
