Delivery Operations Advisor
What we’re building
Every idea starts with a problem. Ours was simple: Boats are special — but they’re loud, pollutant, unreliable, and stuck in the past. Gas-powered boats dominate not because they’re great, but because no better option has existed. Until now.
Arc is here to change that. We’re building 100% electric boats from the ground up — quicker, quieter, easier to maintain, and better for the water they ride on. We’re not just swapping gas for batteries. We’re rethinking every detail on the boat — from propulsion and powertrain to software and ownership model — applying first-principles engineering from aerospace and EVs to deliver a better boating experience.
Electric boats haven’t taken over yet. The tech hasn’t been ready. The talent hasn’t been focused here. That’s our opportunity — and we’re moving fast.
Who we’re looking for
We’re looking for someone who’s fired up by our mission and ready to build. You’ll thrive here if you adapt quickly, take ownership, and care about the details.
This is a full-time role that will require up to 75% travel. You’ll report to the Senior Manager, Sales and Delivery
Core responsibilities
- Owning the customer journey after order placement through delivery day, ensuring every touchpoint feels exceptional — authentic, engaging, educational, and aligned with Arc's core values and culture
- Owning delivery logistics end-to-end: factory ship-out coordination with partners, receipt coordination, organization of receiving inspections, and pre-delivery preparation.
- Managing the post-sale handoff from the Sales Advisor, collecting and verifying all required documentation and customer requests before the delivery process begins
- Serving as the primary point of contact throughout the delivery journey — setting expectations, communicating delivery updates and schedule changes, and keeping customers informed and excited
- Partnering with the Revenue Operations team to coordinate invoicing, payment collection, logistics, and vehicle registration ahead of delivery
- Collaborating with leadership to define and continuously improve delivery ceremony standards, checklists, and customer support programs
- Setting clear support instructions and ownership expectations at delivery, ensuring every customer leaves with the resources to troubleshoot confidently and knows exactly where to turn if they need help
Basic qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in a customer-facing operations, delivery coordination, or client success role
- Hands-on boating experience, including the ability to confidently tow and trailer a boat solo and launch in a variety of real-world conditions
- Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple customers and timelines simultaneously
- Clear and proactive communicator — you don't wait to be asked, you keep people in the loop
- High attention to detail, especially when handling documentation and hand-off processes
- Comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Passion for building processes from the ground up
Bonus qualifications
- Experience in automotive, luxury retail, or consumer goods delivery — especially with high-consideration purchases
- Familiarity with CRM tools such as HubSpot or SalesMsg
- Background in building or improving customer-facing programs or ceremonies
- Comfortable pushing a fast but sustainable pace
- Enthusiasm for boating and clean energy
At Arc, we encourage diversity and consider all qualified applicants equally for employment, regardless of background, identity, or status. You’re always welcome to reach out even if you don’t meet many of these qualifications. Passion and aptitude make up for a lot.
