Business Analyst

The Business Analyst collaborates closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, project managers, software engineers, ML engineers, QA, and design. In this role, you’ll be responsible for translating business needs into clearly defined requirements and user stories, managing the refinement process and ensuring team alignment throughout the development cycle.

Your Impact

• Write detailed, well-structured user stories, acceptance criteria, and supporting documentation in Jira and Confluence.
• Participate in and lead story refinement sessions with cross-functional teams.
• Partner with Product Managers to analyze business problems, propose solutions, and break down features into deliverable stories.
• Collaborate with engineering and AI to ensure that requirements are testable, complete, and clear.
• Help PM facilitate agile ceremonies such as backlog refinement and sprint planning.
• Translate feedback from internal stakeholders and clients into clear product enhancements and features.
• Maintain a clean and prioritized product backlog to ensure efficient delivery of value.
• Identify edge cases, dependencies, and business logic scenarios to mitigate risk and avoid rework.
• Continuously refine and improve how requirements are gathered and communicated.

What you bring to the table

• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role in a tech or software development environment.
• Proven experience writing clear and actionable user stories with acceptance criteria and definition of done in Jira.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex business needs into technical terms.
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and collaboration methodologies with technical roles during development (e.g. Triad collaboration, Three amigos)
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including engineering, QA, product, and design.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Confluence, Miro, Lucid Chart, or similar documentation tools.

It will be great if you also bring

• Familiarity with API-driven platforms or B2B2C products
• Incorporate AI tools into own function and processes
• Experience working in ML & AI solutions
