The Role: ARMRA is looking for a visionary Creative Director of Brand to help lead the next chapter of our creative evolution. Reporting directly to the VP of Creative, this leader will serve as a core partner in shaping the creative direction and identity of the brand across every touchpoint—from design and video to content, tone of voice, and social storytelling.
This is for a boundary-pushing, strategically minded creative leader who can concept big ideas, mentor and manage a multidisciplinary team, and ensure every piece of creative work reflects ARMRA’s unique voice, aesthetic, and mission from its founder, Dr. Sarah Rahal, MD.
You’re a cultural strategist and storyteller at heart. You know how to translate science into emotionally resonant creative. You know what makes something feel ownable, on screen, on shelf, or in-feed. You’re not just fluent in design or video, you connect the dots across all channels, platforms, and cultural moments. You make brands matter.
You will oversee a growing team of designers, editors, and creators, and be responsible for maintaining creative consistency and excellence across all campaigns and channels, including direct oversight of ARMRA’s social media creative and content output.
Responsibilities:
Brand Creative Direction
- Define and uphold the visual identity, tone of voice, and brand story across all channels (social, digital, paid, email, packaging, in-store, and experiential).
- Collaborate with the VP of Creative to translate brand strategy into breakthrough creative that builds cultural relevance and emotional connection.
Social & Content Oversight
- Own and evolve ARMRA’s organic social presence, leading concepting and creative execution across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Reddit, Threads, Substack, and emerging platforms.
- Drive a consistent brand voice across social, ensuring platform-native content is visually on-brand, strategically sound, and culturally relevant.
Team Leadership & Mentorship
- Lead a growing team of designers, editors, content creators, and external collaborators, providing creative direction, feedback, and coaching.
- Champion an inspired, high-performing team culture that values creative rigor, experimentation, and deep craft across mediums.
Campaign & Storytelling Development
- Co-lead seasonal and evergreen campaign development, defining concepts, visual worlds, narratives, and content toolkits that can scale across social, paid, retail, and web.
- Partner cross-functionally with Growth, Brand, Product, and Social Strategy teams to bring brand-defining ideas to life.
- Champion innovation in format and storytelling, ensuring ARMRA leads (not follows) in the wellness category.
Creative Operations & Process
- Collaborate with Creative Ops to streamline feedback loops, creative briefs, and internal reviews, protecting the quality and timelines of creative work.
- Maintain a high creative bar while driving efficiencies in how we concept, produce, and deliver content.
Skills & Qualifications
- 10-12+ years of creative experience, including team leadership across design, content, and social-first creative.
- Portfolio that shows brand-building, not just content execution, you’ve shaped brand identities and led high-impact campaigns from concept to launch.
- Experienced in CPG or lifestyle brands, with an ability to bridge brand storytelling between digital and physical worlds (product, packaging, retail, and campaigns).
- Confident and experienced on set, able to direct photo and video shoots with creative authority and cross-functional collaboration.
- Deep experience with short-form video, content ecosystems, and social platforms, particularly TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.
- Proven ability to direct creators, editors, and designers, and guide multidisciplinary teams through tight timelines and evolving briefs.
- Strong sense of visual storytelling, brand voice, and aesthetic innovation.
- Comfortable in a high-growth, fast-paced environment; you think strategically but move quickly.
- Strong communicator and presenter, able to articulate ideas, rally teams, and sell through vision with clarity and conviction.
- Familiarity with Figma, Adobe Suite, on-set experience and video production workflows is a plus.
