About the role:
We are hiring Lead Backend Engineers who have experience in building backend systems in the cloud. As we enter our next phase, we are focused on building a next-generation architecture that can sustain high growth and endure for years to come. To help us on this journey, we're seeking highly skilled technical professionals with diverse backgrounds who can help us accelerate and enhance our technical capabilities on this journey. You will be building a leading fintech product across South-East Asia on an international and diverse team.
- Design, develop and maintain cutting edge web-based fintech products
- Defining the software architecture and building scalable and fault tolerance systems
- Keep abreast of new trends and best practices in development
- Collaborate across Engineering, Product, UX teams on daily basis
Minimum qualifications:
- Degree in Computer Science or other technical discipline
- 5 - 10 years working experience in a Software Engineering role
- Proficient in at least one backend programming language such as PHP, Go, Python, Node.js, Java, etc.
- Experience in RESTful API design and implementation
- Solid understanding of software architecture principles and design patterns
- Ability to review code, identify bugs, and provide feedback to ensure code quality standards are met.
- Experience in writing and executing unit tests and integration tests as well as debugging skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Preferred qualifications:
- Working experience with full stack development (including frontend and mobile)
- Exposure to DevOps with AWS and experience in databases and monitoring tools
- FinTech domain experience a PLUS
